Great gaming pc for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally planned on building my own pc for about $1000 but i walked into bestbuy for the heck of it to see what they had. Lo and behold they had this beast. Instantly fell in love, had exactly the same specs as the parts i had picked for my build and only cost $100 more, which i found acceptable since i would paid that $100 in shipping the parts and time used to actually build it, so it was justified. Was skeptical at first about the brand cause i hadnt really heard of it and what i have heard had been on the fence, especially about the customer service of the company itself, but ive had no problems with the pc, and again, it runs like a champ, cs:go at 300fps at max settings! The appearance of the case is slick and very eye catching. Has blue led lights on the inside case with the internal parts viewable through the side window and an led light in front by the intake fan. Ventilation is great, lots of open grates and plenty of room inside the case with an intake and exhaust fan. And this machine is QUIET!! Played cs:go and gta5 at max settings without a hiccup and you can hardly even hear the fans let alone this machine eats right through anything you throw at it anyway. Only thing that threw me off was when i connected the monitor with the dvi cable. I got an asus 144hz monitor and apparently you have to connect it to the dvi input on the gpu itself instead of the port on the motherboard. Not sure if its a faulty dvi port or what, but the monitor works and dont need the second dvi port so it wasnt a big deal to me. OVERALL, great machine so far, will update if anything happens, but as far as the customer service goes with ibuypower, just invest in the bestbuy protection program instead and youll be fine. And do not be thrown off by BRAND! Ive had everything from HP to Alienware, and this was a steal, this much power is very very fairly priced where as youd most likely pay almost double for an alienware, i love alienware, but you pay for the name and that isnt important to me. Very happy with my purchase. Made my buddy who came with me very jealous when i booted this thing up.

horrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my ibuypower i-series 506 computer for almost 2 months. I do my schoolwork and play games on it and that's it. All of the sudden it shut off and made my monitor make a buzzing sound. Now I can't even get it to load past the gigabyte screen no matter what brilliant ideas the company has for me. Complete waste of money

Overall, its an awesome computer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is only one complaint I have for this device, the micro atx motherboard. There is only one PCI slot so that means you cannot put in another graphics card and SLI. Luckily it comes with a gtx 970 so theres no need to SLI for atleast a couple years, and at that point ill just buy a new graphics card. Its running every game on high settings at a minimum, so that's awesome. My gaming experience has changed a lot. Ive been really hapy with ibuypower this time around. The one upgrade I would recommend doing right when you get this, is install a solid state hard drive. It will make this thing lightening fast.

Unacceptable Quality Assurance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unboxed the PC and immediately noticed it only had one RAM stick. The display model had two, so I booted it up to check. The computer only had 4gb RAM of the advertised 8. The display window on the case was smudged with sticky residue, an LCD track light had fallen off and was loose in the case, and the graphics card was bent at a slight angle at the socket. This company's QA failed big time. Returned the product and bought an ASUS desktop instead. I will not purchase from this company again.

Poor Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a gaming PC for my Son. Within a week the WIFII USB adapter failed. After speaking with the Best Buy sales guys it came out they had issues with this particular brand when it came to quality. I returned the PC (Best Buy has awesome support and return policies) and bought something else.

Dont buy unless perpaired for repairs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After 2 days of moderate use computer crashed with the (modernized) blue screen of death followed by endless gigabyte auto diagnosis and auto reboot. After 3hrs i decided call customer service dedicated to the company that ships these computers out and was told that it would take a total of 15 to 23 work days before i would receive my repaired pc. I immediately returned and got my money back.

Great gaming computer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the IBuyPower at my local Best Buy. I had checked out the display model and components listing. Came back later and bought it with a 3 year GSP and Support plan. Picked up a 240 GB Sandisk SSD as well. This computer replaces my dead hp gaming computer. Having used it now for about 3 weeks, have not had any failures of any components. I have not has any problems with the LED lights or internal parts so far. The included MSI Nvidia GTS 970 is a nice addition. The only problems I found with this computer is the wiring being just bundled together with a tie and looked like no effort was made to hide the wire in the back panel. Also, the clear plastic window had scratches in several places. These are not system issues so they do not degrade my overall rating.

It took three times before we received the product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Three attempts before we received a working product. We tried two I 5's that had bad components. Too much frustration before being satisfied.

Received yesterday.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have recently as of yesterday owned this gaming beast, after a series of confusion (Read the quick set-up and don't assume you know what you're doing like me.) and I must say I am heavily impressed so far. The only confusion was getting my Nvidia GTX 970 drivers to work. After correcting the issue and reinstalled drivers to suit the components, it runs wicked fast and boots in little to no time. I plan to run World of Warcraft on Ultra and will amend my post when I have had enough time to shake down the graphic's card. It played videos rather fluidly with no complaints. Wish me luck on the shake down. :)

Great PC - Gaming and Whatever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 5-year old "packaged" HP took a dirt nap for some strange reason. Shut it down and wouldn't boot up and after trying a few new and/or different pieces of hardware, decided it was time for a new PC... Really wasn't sure what I wanted and was looking online at BB some Cyberpower and iBuypower PCs. I didn't even realize BB was selling these. I actually have a custom built computer from iBuypower that is 10-years old and it's still working fine for the most part (just needs some ram, etc). As the other poster mentioned, I walked into BB and they had 3 of these computers in store. I went ahead and purchased it - this was about 3-4 days ago and so far, I love it. Very powerful, great graphics, quiet, packaged very well, etc... Pros: * Cool Case and LEDS * Lots of Ventilation and extra fan module slots if you want to add more * Quiet - Can't really hear it running (I have it sitting on floor under my desk) * Packaging - very solid. Even had a piece of foam inside the case to protect internals. * Setup - simple. Unbox, remove foam, connect, turn on. The rest is easy. * Gaming/Graphics - So far, I've only played a few games and this baby is smoking them. One game is older (L4D2) and this computer handles this game easily. The other game is newer (Ark Survivor).. From what I have read, a lot of people struggle or can't with this game. I downloaded it and this PC runs that game with no issues on high and max levels. And the game graphics are amazing at those levels. * Cost - For the cost, it's hard to beat this computer. The graphics card (GTX 970) alone is very solid. Cons: * So far - I have none. I wasn't sure if I would like Windows 10 or not but it seems very nice and easier to navigate than Windows 8.0/8.1 or at least to me it does. * There was one minor issue but it was nothing. One of the memory chips had popped loose. I didn't notice it at first but I loaded and ran CPUID CPU-Z and noticed it. Simply turned off computer, pushed memory chip in slot, powered up - bingo... Plus - I got the BB warranty package since I bought it in store. IF you are looking to purchase a new computer especially now closer to Xmas. Go to you BB and see if they can work with you and order for you and purchase it from them at the store so you get their warranty. For mine, I get the Xmas warranty and if for whatever reason, I want to return the computer in 3 months - I can... The 15-day electronic return process is waived now. I'm super happy so far. I'm hoping there is no problems going forward. I would totally recommend this PC. IF anything changes, I'll update.
