Great for kids, and Dad uses to. I would recommend to a friend or anyone.

Out of the box the keyboard was defective. When pressing any letter or number near the letter "I", the surrounding keys would trigger. Inputting any information was essentially impossible and I needed to use an extra keyboard laying around. Even if it did work I wouldn't use it - very cheap and flimsy. Same goes with the mouse. After running this rig for a few days it went into an endless BSOD. After troubleshooting for a couple of hours, updating the BIOS, trying to use a recovery USB drive, etc., etc. I decided to re-install Windows. My original Windows 10 Pro (1511) would not recognize the SSD. Fair enough. Win10 1703? Well, recognized it, but wouldn't install. Version 1809 wouldn't finalize the isntal. Finally, 1803! Aha...oh, wait. Nope. It just boots back to the install disk. I give up trying to fix this at my son's house so I take it home. I decided to pull out the WD Green SSD and see if it could use a firmware update. Nope. However, there was an interesting option in WD's SSD Dashboard: the ability to Sanitize the drive. After doing that - voila! I could install Windows again. However, that resulted in a clean slate. No drivers for the LAN port, WiFi / Bluetooth card, NVIDIA card, nothing. Great. Because every halfway decent manufacturer (HP, Dell, etc.) has recovery tools in the form of ISOs that can be download, or a USB drive that can be created, I figured iBUYPOWER would as well. Boy was I wrong. After chatting with someone online who took several minutes to respond to very basic questions, and first told me an ISO or recovery software was not available and then later changed their story to just "can't give it to you", I was seemingly banned from. I was not belligerent, rude, or offensive at all in my chat. Apparently talking with me for an hour, again because of the atrocious delay in his response, was too much for this tech support person to handle. Another thing that stood out while chatting Mark was he tried to tell me that simply re-installing Windows would return it to "factory default" - except I was missing drivers, etc. Based purely on the extremely poor technical support and their refusal to help I returned this PC. This item was returned for an Aurora R7 with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 from Dell / Alienware, a manufacturer I know with absolute certainty will provide the necessary tools to revert a computer to it's factory default state with the pre-installed drivers and software.

I needed a PC for school and gaming and this was a perfect choice.

I bought it for my Grandson, for his 10th birthday. When he got it he found out that it did not come with speakers. He is happy playing the games that he wanted to play on it and we bought external speakers. I thought it being a gaming computer it would come with speakers I guess not. He is happy with it.

I loved the pc but the keyboard typed by itself i swapped at best buy .....

We got this for work mainly for the monitor that we had purchased. Works great and looks Great
