Very good beginner PC!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good PC for beginners or pros alike! The Navidia 1060 and Intel i5 make this PC great to play any game on or use for any daily needs. I would highly recommend this PC to friends and family. IBuyPower is a great company with high quality products. You can rest assured that you’re receiving great products that will last. This PC has done everything I needed it to do and more with no issues and just as fast as the first day I opened it.

iBUY medium POWER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent purchase for my wife's photography work. It runs all her photoshop apps, her editing software, and doesn't stall with high-end photo: transfers, rendering, and processing. I opted for 4.5 stars, only because I felt it needed more RAM, which I bought from Best Buy (total 24 gigs), also. Great DEAL for high-end photo editing!

Do Not Buy This Brand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title states, you should avoid this brand whenever possible. Unless you plan to also purchase the additional Best Buy/Geek Squad protection plan. I have attempted to call the brand's customer support line 3 times. Each time I sat on hold for longer than 20 minutes before having to hang up and continue my day. I have emailed their service/help twice in the last week about my issue and the only response I have received was an automated message that informed me my first message was received and an order ticket has been generated. That was 3 days and two phone calls ago - with zero actual response or contact from the manufacturer yet. I have only owned this PC a couple weeks. The case fan on the back of the case turned off and has not come back on since. The internal temps of the system are in excess of 60* C during more moderate/heavy work. That fan moving some of that hot air out, could do a lot to help protect the system from over heating. I do not know if the fan is faulty or if it's a setting in the bios that needs to be adjusted but the manufacturer has zero help yet - running hot will drastically reduce the over all life of the PC, so the fact that iBuyPower STILL has not responded and keeps leaving me on hold until I have to hang up - has been quite frustrating. Especially considering that these fans cost like MAYBE $10 and if it's faulty can be easily replaced.

Posted .Hello David,
Unfortunately this computer's chassis does not provide an optical drive bay or a opening for you to place an internal drive and access it. We recommend obtaining an external drive if you need to use disks. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Rocky start
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off this PC is beautiful and plenty fast to handle what I intend to do with it, having room to expand on top of it makes it that much better. This unit is actually the second one for me, the first one made a horrible screeching sound right out of the box coming from the power supply. Took it in to best buy and exchanged it for my current one, now its silent as a church mouse. Leds built in with an easy to use interface let's you customize the look of the tower and the mouse. Keyboard isnt my favorite but for an included item it's pretty good, just doesnt have the feedback that I like from the keys. Comes with a wifi antenna from Asus too. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great deal on a gaming PC to build on

Score is for the basic configuration
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As Sony has moved more and more into censorship and we're losing configurability and flexibility in lieu of "buy this new slightly stronger model for $600!" that we're in now, I decided to return to PC gaming for certain games. I do have a laptop that's fairly powerful, except it's held back by the integrated GPU. I pondered this vs. the other AMD models and settled on this for the nVidia support in certain Steam games. By itself the PC isn't remarkable. Graphics card is 8/10, but budget wise I couldn't justify a $400-$600 premium for 6GB VRAM dedicated. The platter disk is SLOOOOOW. Only 8GB of RAM 9 is a joke in this day and age. Processor is 8/10, no reason it shouldn't or couldn't have been i7. Nice that it has a wireless card, but compared to my laptop it seems to not be that strong. It doesn't have the right graphics card drivers installed so the very first thing you need to do is get those. While they (laughingly) provide a disk with these, you can't use them if you don't have an external CD/DVD player, since this doesn't have one built in. I swapped the default RAM for a 16GB (for now) pair of high end Corsairs (the ones that light up, why not) and cloned out the drive for a 256 SSD (for now). All told it was 5 hours from when I started to when it was fully usable, and here was my mistake: I did the Windows Updates FIRST. I shouldn't have. The platter disk held me back and I knew it would. Had I done the clone swap first and then done updates it would have gone much faster, but I wasn't sure about storage capacity. It was an additional 50GB of stuff that it downloaded. Once that was done though, it now performs like the beast it's supposed to, and only gets lukewarm pushing 1080p/60 or 4k/30. $1200 all told to get it to that point which included a UPS. I docked a star because frankly, I understand the whole "budget" thing. But in looking at the components selected, they could easily have done more than they did. Also, getting to the storage bays is needlessly convoluted; there's no secondary power cable either, so if you want to slave out a drive you'll need to make sure you buy a SATA power cable. They don't always come with the drive and you shouldn't assume it has one. Make sure.

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything is going by pretty well. I bought the computer for myself. I have never owned a gaming PC before. I have been a mac user for everything in the last 6 years. Needless to say this is also my first pc in a long time. I am quite happy with everything so far. Usually I am very picky about my purchases. I researched a lot before buying this computer. I wanted it mainly to play Fortnite online. I am able to play at max settings and everything is good so far. The mouse that comes with the computer is pretty good. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because, the keyboard is really not good at all. Be sure to pick up a keyboard right away if you can. Secondly, the computer actually crashed the first time I tried Fortnite in max settings. I really don't know what the issue is/was. It was as if the pc was still on but the graphics card turned off or something. I could not get any of the video outputs to work. Ultimately I had to reboot and I haven't had an issue since. Will update review if issue re-occurs. Final thoughts, if you were to build something with similar specs you would end up spending 200-300 dollars more. I tried the very same thing and I was looking for the i5-8400 and Nvidia GTX 1060. Even if you source the parts at the cheapest prices you will not be able to build something that looks as nice sitting on your desk.

Great computer...missing mouse!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer itself is great. I immediately purchased extra memory and upgraded this machine to 32GB. It is fully capable of running many games such as Fortnite, Forza, etc without a hitch. For the money it cannot be beat as I got it on sale for $599. My main issue though and why it is not 5 stars is the fact that I did not receive a mouse with the computer. It was sealed and arrived in good shape but I dumped everything out and it was not in there. I had sold my mouse with my old computer so it rendered the computer useless until I could get to the store to buy one (I am overseas military so this was not possible for a few days). In addition, the keyboard is not built to the quality I would expect it to be for a gaming keyboard...but it was basically free with the computer so I am not going to hold this against my rating. If you are a big gamer you will want to purchase a nice keyboard/mouse set. I have not contacted Best Buy or iBuyPower regarding the missing mouse yet but if I am able to get a replacement or a partial refund this review will most definitely be 5 stars! Finally, to help those of you looking at memory upgrades. Ensure you buy DDR4 2666mhz memory as this works perfectly and the computer is lightning fast with 32gb's installed. This specific model does NOT come with a CD/DVD drive so you will need an external one if you require discs to be utilized. It also does NOT have a card reader built in so a usb memory card reader will be required if you wish to use one to transfer your photos, phone storage, etc. Other than those things this is the best bang for your buck considering other similar models sell for $200+ more than what I paid.

Great Quality and specs for new pc gamers.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this system about one year ago at a black friday sales event and to be honest at the time I didnt understand much fo specs and quality and I just wanted a decent gpu. After a year of gaming on this rig I would recommend this for anyone who is getting their first pc for a budget. I play Fortnite 300+ fps, R6 300+ fps, Modern Warfare 200+ fps. This a great the mouse and keyboard are kind of average and what should have expected ,but other than that this pc si perfect for the average gamer who wants fun and can enjoy the seamless game play. I added some ram for editing and grapic design and tabs but this a great rig.

Powerful Desktop at a good price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great gaming PC, especially for the price (I got it on sale for $699). Worked great right out of the box with no issues at all. The mouse is very nice, I just wish the keyboard would have been lit-up like the mouse and the PC Tower, because it is hard to read the keys (the keyboard needs improvement). However, the case is beautiful with the glass side plate. The drawbacks are the lack of a CD/DVD drive (a USB external will be needed to use any discs), which I added with an LG DVD drive. Overall, it is a good purchase, runs my racing games very well. I also like the upgrade options, as I already added an extra 8 GB of RAM (up-gradable to 64 GB), plus a Samsung 500 GB SSD. This machine is now super fast!

Great mid-range computer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If all you want to do is play games at a solid framerate and don't care about all the flashy stuff, then get this computer. It has the components to last quite a while without getting out of date fast and stay relevant. You have tons of room to upgrade. Only downside is this specific motherboard is limited by the manufacturer to limit your upgrades you make yourself but all you have to do is buy another board from a retailer and put it in. check the manual for the ASRock 360b pro 4 if you want to upgrade to an SSD. I also suggest a clone if you want to go to SSD.

Great entry/ mid level gaming PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it’s been a really Good product, I was looking at other PCs when I came across this one, pretty good price for this machine, it’s really worth it, I can finally run all my games at 1080p-High/Ultra settings and get steady 60FPS or higher with no problems at all. Head great ventilation so it doesn’t overheat even after hours of nonstop gaming. I love it

Great Desktop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this desktop. It gives you a LOT of good hardware and is extremely upgradeable. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is the lack of documentation to assist with upgrades. I guess I am used to having all of that set for me, so maybe I am a bit spoiled by it. I added more RAM and an SSD card for the OS and now it screams. My recommendation is the first thing you need to do is get an SSD drive (cheap these days) and get the OS on there. That gives you the most boost initially. I was looking at a much more powerful machine until I was directed towards this. It is a great deal!!
