I run Fortnite at 144hz just fine! When I first brought the computer home I added a stick of 8GB ram to make it 16GB total as well as another fan. Been using this bad boy daily for the past year. No issues. When purchasing a gaming computer you have to keep windows, drivers, and security updated and active or else you’ll have issues. That’s with any computer... so I believe the negative reviews that this computer has are just people not knowing how to maintain a gaming computer.

...this is the sweet spot. Good combo motherboard, CPU, memory, GFX. It runs all my games at max settings without breaking a sweat. (Can't say how it does with newest releases. I haven't played them. I'd imagine these would challenge this hardware.) As a pre-built, it is boutique gaming computer quality at a nice price. I got it on sale during the July 4th sale. Pros: - American people on the phone!!! I love you. :) - Fast stock CPU, memory, GFX, SSD, on a solid motherboard. - Plenty of room for expansion, more drives, memory, cards. - Runs cool, breathes easy. Lower risk of overheating. - Very nice case, ports are accessible. - Nice motherboard for tweakers and overclockers; although the Intel CPU will require a cooling system. - Good care taken in packaging. Good unpacking and setup instructions. - Nice utility for the case's LED cycling, bling, to tweak aesthetics or turn them off. Cons: - This system has one memory DIMM. I immediately customized it with a matched pair for a performance boost. Not too expensive. - Audio bundle is lacking. The onboard audio is adequate, but there are no treats, e.g. a nice equalizer. Third party FXSound works superbly, well worth the money. - Modest power supply. If you plan to expand, considering something with more headroom. - There is no CD/DVD drive. This is the new norm. Just be aware if you want one, you'll need to provide your own USB or internal. - The builder put a paper sticker on the glass. It will be an effort to get off without leaving its crud on the glass. Evil. - There is no drive CD or user manual. You'll need to contact the company to open a RMA for shipment of them. - Tweakers and overclockers may want to go with AMD Ryzen instead. - Windows 10. Nuff said. Conclusion: You'll have to invest a little money to make it a nice box, and "yours", but it is a great foundation at a great price for moderately serious gamers. I give this a high four stars, rounded up to five. Recommended.

I decided to pick this PC up after looking at several Ibuypower PC's. I chose this one because it was right in my price range, it came with an SSD drive and from everything I have read Ibuypower makes a top notch PC. I'm extremely happy with it and it's working flawlessly. Runs all my games at 1440p with medium to high settings and can do 1080p full ultra. Great pc!!!

This is my first gaming PC and so far I love it. It is fast and smooth and gaming is a lot better than console. My only issue was the keyboard, I wish I was build a little better because the keys don’t have good smooth stroke. I have to adjust how I push the shift key and space bar because if not they don’t press all the way down. The PC itself is amazing though! Great buy!

This purchase is not quite as good as a self built can be for the same cost, but it involves much less hassle. Time is money, friend. We went into Best Buy, picked it up, and were able to start playing that evening after some security configuration. I ran a user benchmark and it is performing above expectations. Rising Storm: Vietnam plays very smoothly even on ultra settings. The motherboard has open slots, so I can upgrade this machine easily as well.

I got this PC to play newer games. It's super quiet and runs everything on high settings. Plus the LED's makes it look really nice. my only problem with it is that came with 8 GB of RAM.

I got my Ibuypower pc for a great price, and overall it works great. The only problem I have is that the motherboard is an OEM board, so when looking for drivers and BIOS updates, the specific motherboard virtually doesn't exist. I had to format my pc, and since I can't get the correct drivers, the USB slots on the top of my pc no longer work. Everything else about the pc runs, fine. I upgraded to ram to 16gb and am able to play games on high settings and stream to twitch at the same time. The only thing I would do different is make sure that the motherboard is one of the ones supported on the manufacturer's site.

I am a die-hard console type-gamer but I finally broke and decided to get a computer. This is probably one of the best gaming decision I have ever made, everything seems to run smoother, games are cheaper, plus all of my family plays on computer. So, that was the icing on the cake for me. I find gaming to be more enjoyable when you can share laughs with friends and family. But I love this thing and I can't wait to dive deeper. 10/10 would recommend.

On 09-07-2019, I purchased a Ibuypower BB961 Gaming PC. Great Quality, Great Graphics (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6gb) Easy set up, quick start up, and runs greats. Only upgrade I did was RAM from stock 8gb Adata to Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb (8gbx2) has two more slots for expansion up to 32gb. 120gb Solid State Drive and 1TB Sata. Tower has plenty of room for upgrades and lights make the inside highly visible. Satisfied with the purchase.

This was my son's entry into PC gaming machine. So far, he has been very pleased with it. I didn't know what to expect from it. After searching online and talking with the Best Buy staff we settled on this beauty. My son loves to in-chat with friends while gaming and listening to music. The system has handled it without any issue. Plus, he loves the pulsating colors that can be changed to his heart's content. It's worth the buy.

It runs pretty much any game and is perfect for anyone new to gaming. Start up/ set up easy.

Everything worked well after setup. However it would not recognize my Startech Hard drive SATA docking station. Will have to try on other computers. Lots of USB 3 slots. Unfortunately, I have lots of USB devices. So far, all have worked except for the docking station. Sales person claimed machine had Bluetooth. Guess I can add this option with a plug in. Like the included keyboard and the mouse. Graphics are also good but lack of documentation. No info in box telling me to check for documentation on line. I will contact ibuypower site to see. Overall a good replacement gaming computer.

This is the second iBuyPower PC I have purchased. This PC is very well made. Has great components and runs everything very well so far. The wi-fi driver isn't incredibly powerful and has a short range, but I use a wired connection which is perfect. The LEDs are beautiful and have a lot of options. So far, very lovely PC. This is a gift for someone who is new in PC gaming and it is a great PC for them!
