I ordered this PC on black Friday for a great price. It took a while to get it about 3 weeks. When it arrived I hooked everything up including the oculus. Was happy it had enough usb and HDMI ports for everything. Games play great on it. Only cons were wires inside needed to be cleaned up with some zip ties and the wireless adapter for the pc is junk. I'm going to run a wire this weekend to fix that.

So this is what a real computer feels like. Fast smooth a great deal. Works like lighting. I just feel like I got a good deal and am very happy. Point of interest the video hookup is the lowest one on the tower. And you will need the white video cable. No bloatware at all NICE.

Thank you bestbuy for your special financing which make it possible for me to get this desktop and also to ibuypower, thank you for supports when I have some technical difficulties, you guys walk me through all my difficulties including the rob remote not working but you guys help me fix it. Also the desktop works great at least to me. It was quite when I use it for gaming and work. Keep up the good work, Best Buy and ibuypower.

I read several reviews.. seems hit or miss on what you get but, mine came with and MSI Z270 board, liquid cooled i7 7700k, 1Tb western Digital Blue, a Kingston 240gb SSD, MSI GTX1080 Armor graphics card, and DDR4 Adata XPG Ram (8gb x 2). I was planing to build my own but I don't think I could have build such a great machine for this price on my own. No idea what power supply is in it. Case looks nice and had RGB lights, which is a must for a gaming computer, much like a NOS sticker on a 1996 Honda Civic, it just makes it that much cooler.

I bought this 6 years ago and it has been everything I needed for light gameplay and more. I’m only now looking to update a couple of bits and pieces now (RAM and SSD size). It’s been my pal and companion all the way through a couple of moves!

Take my 4 star rating as a 5 star. It is a 5 star to me as someone who graduated from a six-year old Asus mid-range multimedia laptop I bought for school.
I would 5 star it for the amazing bang for the buck. Start up and shut down is a snap, the two fans are very quiet and I will add another for the i7-6700, which will dampen the noise further. The 1080 is a boss no doubt. The best feature of this fella here is the price, even off-sale. My first gaming computer and a strong start to say the least.
Great care is taken in the shipping as they use some sort of flash-expanding foam package in the factory which is placed inside the tower in order to secure the components. A+ score for the consideration they took in part of shipping. All you have to do is undo the knobs on the glass siding and pull that baby out. Furthermore the glass siding (I didn't know both sides were glass which is a bonus) is lined with a protective film. Basic stickers cover the usb/ethernet ports and power supply cable receptacle.
It shipped in its own box to my dismay. I keep all my electronics boxes for anything I'm currently using so I can safely relocate them if needed. The box was scuffed a bit, and I don't like the idea of neighbors or my deliveryman seeing that I have a sick rig. Fortunately, the package is signature-required, so it will not sit on your porch for all to see.
The interior is okay. The cablework is a bit shoddy, and the wireless adapter looks like a tiny flash drive hanging out in the middle. I just propped it out of the way a bit but it's a bit otherworldly in this unit. I will talk about this adapter in a second. I'm aware the motherboard must be placed where it is, but I would rather have a non-glass siding on the side of the chasis where it is installed as it restricts the view for the interior lighting, which patches through here and there for me. The comp sits to my left where this is an issue, but that is a personal problem. Either way, the glass siding on my side is a love-hate relationship.
The wireless adapter I would have rather enjoyed to have as a slot insert, but I assume it is this little guy to aid in the awesomely low price. The wireless seems to drop for me, and after testing multiple devices and another usb wifi adapter, i concluded that it was this adapter's fault. I would have to restart Oculus game downloads constantly for the drop in connection. I haven't started any multiplayer yet, but I am quite concerened about this until I run an ethernet cable somehow from the basement (college kid in parent's house).
That is why I 4-star this one.
The comp shuts off nearly instantly on command which is impressive. However, if I prompt a restart instead, it keeps the restart loading circle on screen forever, and I end up shutting it off against the "restarting, please do not power off" recommendation. For such an issue, I believe this is also a personal issue since it is such an elementary function. I'll look into this.
I'm using an old monitor until I scrap up more money for a nice gaming screen, and I only had a VGA cable laying around at the moment. The VGA port which is not on the graphics card will not communicate to the screen on first-time set up, so I had to run to BBY for a DVI-D cable. I am not sure if it will work right away with HDMI or DisplayPort cables OTB, as the instructions were generalized across different tower models and said to use the DVI or VGA ports (my 1080 didn't have the VGI versus the instruction diagram) for first-time setup.
OS is preinstalled on the SSD thank goodness. I was afraid I'd have to mess with all that at first. The product key on the back of the tower has a security sticker which was a little too adhesive and gummed/tore some of the product code. I'm very delicate with anything electronic like a newborn child, which is what this baby basically is to me, and that product key was still so hard to unearth. I actually never was able to, and had to guesswork my way to the right key in the entry field for a good 20mins.
Getting down to business, this big boy destroys 4K (tested on TV) and VR like a champ thanks to its build. It is my first gaming comp of course, but I am no stranger to them. It really does deliver with what it's got. Included mouse is proficient in tracking, and includes programmable side keys. I was hoping the keyboard was backlit, but it only has lights on the side. Not a bad touch, but I was planning on a Corsair anyway. Plenty of USB 3.0s. Lighting is beautiful and even though I dont see it well from my side, the nonobstructed glass side (left side viewed from front) and the vents through the back present a nice light splash on the wall to the side and back in my room (yes it's in the corner, but I spaced it enough for circulation). The light strip on the front face is an agressive glow, and despite my dominantly modern green clean room, I have really come to like it.
My 1080 was an ASUS Turbo unforntunately. After some research, what type of 1080 you get really depends on what IBP has laying around at the moment, confirmed directly from a representative. This was obviously a hot buy for the holiday season, and I foresee many more ASUS Turbos for the remainder of that time. Would have liked an MSI, but I am definitely not complaining. Again, price-point is still on point.
Versus the world of gaming PCs I would still 4 star this baby in terms of relative selection, mostly due to the shoddy cable arrangement, lack of another fan, and the silly wifi adapter. The other components are mid-grade, but definitely sufficient. It gets a 20 out of 5 as a personal computer for me though.
I can't stress it enough though. The price is right. For a gamer on a budget who hit a little score on the stock market, this baby is a godsend for me.

My son wanted a computer early for Christmas, and once we saw this deal we took it right away. The GTX 1080 is one of the best graphic cards out there, and handles the job well. The i7 Core also helps with multitasking and has outstanding speed. Overall, this PC is worth the price and I would definitely recommend it.

The computer performs very well as you would expect with a machine running these specs (GTX 1080, i7-7700, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, etc.). It's surprisingly very quiet as well. Great if you're looking for a high-end PC but don't know where to start

I was finally able to reach a large enough piggy bank to get a real computer. First it came very well packed. Expanding foam inside the tower so as not to allow any components to be moved during shipment. There were many more surprises with this monster keyboard mouse remote control for the lights inside the tower. started right up. Remember use the bottom most video hookups. And you will need the white cable to hook up the video. Appears to work fine. My favorite no bloatware. None 0 nada. That is a very nice touch nothing to slow you down. I feel like I got a good deal and will make reports as they develop.

My husband and I purchased this after about a year of deliberation on what specs we needed. I love how fast this system is. The only complaint I have is that we had to do some calling and driving as they did not come with A Windows product key (which it was supposed to). Both Best Buy and IBuy worked with us to rectify this mistake tho and a solution was found. Overall a beast of a PC.

Just got this in today. Setup was pretty easy (I was probably more nervous than needed, worried I'd break something). I realize there is some conflicting info (at the time of this review) about whether or not this comes with a optical drive (it does not) but the wireless setup nicely and any drivers I needed I got online just fine (apparently only needed to upgrade video card drivers).
To address some questions I've seen...
- As mentioned previously, there is indeed no optical drive. There are plenty of USB ports for an external drive (if you even need it).
- This machine runs pretty quiet. A ceiling fan at full speed would drown out the sound of this computer.
- Much to my surprise, the 16 GB of ram came in 2 memory sticks (instead of 4x4 which I expected)! The brand I got is XPG. There are 4 slots so upgrading memory will be more convenient having the extra slots available.

I'm a hardcore gamer but i didn't want to go through the hassle of building my own. Some people think it's fun to build but I found it annoying. Will the parts fit? You order 7 different parts and hope none of them comes defective . Not to mention that you have to learn how to manage cables? AND once it all fits you have to install an operating system? headache!!
Friend, this rig will do everything for you. I bought this in 2016 and i have had 0 problems with it. ZERO. It has not slowed down nor have the fans become a problem (fans are never on). I can play all the newest games on the highest setting with no frame drops. Games that i play are Witcher 3, League, Fortnite, Modded Fallout, Skyrim, Sims, Simcity, Tomb Raider and a lot more.
It was a great purchase and i plan on using this rig for a few more years before i even think about upgrading the graphics card.

Fast, nice looking system. Does all I need then some. Could use a little more cooling fans but its quite.
Both sides are glass so you can see the underside of the motherboard but you can see any extra SDD here.
No blote wear.
