great gaming computer for price

The iCore7 processor and the SSD which encompassed the entire 1TB of RAM were key in choice over other PCs. Space to add another 16GB memory card and the newest NVIDIA graphics card were also great! Liquid cooling was a bonus. Very quiet machine! The price was also better than expected with the included components and was better than other PCs. This should last my son through high school, which was a requirement. Best Buy store manager at Brick NJ was really helpful because I had a lot of notes and read a lot of online opinions regarding different components and their performances in different PCs. He cut through the chaos and asked me the right questions. He also said that he owned this computer and was very satisfied with its gaming capability. In the end, I was very comfortable with my choice (and I had labored over for the details for two months before Christmas.) Setup was quick and easy. I probably need to bump up the speed on my internet speed to keep up, though. My son says his Frames per Second (FPS) in Fortnite are over 1000 now and that has upped his game. LOL! Minecraft FPS is over 300. We did not utilize the mouse and keyboard that come with this PC, even though they are labeled for gaming and online reviews said that they are capable units. We bough RAZER accessories at Best Buy. We will leave the included units in box for backup. Very satisfied after 3 weeks of play!

Great upgrade from my 4yr old Asus PC. Installed passmark software and scored in the 98 percentile. Ran Fortnite on max settings and played at the low end of 200 fps. Installed was a breeze, Fast boot times, Quite running, water cooled CPU. Ran a bunch of older games on this as well with max settings. Brings the old games to new life with the better graphics.

Today was possibly the most exciting yet the best day of my 2019 year, and it's crazy to think that I just bought this Pre-Built today for my Birthday, This MONSTER of a PC can handle up to any and I mean ANY AAA games I throw at it without fail, it left me ecstatic with shock of just how good the build quality was, easy to set up and get going right out the box, it was an amazing first experience, outstanding results, a HUGE worth it buy for me, worth every single tax :) [Very Impressed]

Great computer but some small complaints

Overall I absolutely love this computer but I just have a couple small complaints that probably wouldn't effect most people.
My only small but worrying complaint was when I first received my product the first thing I noticed was the radiator LED were strobing when set to static with the color blue. Not a big problem I just had to change the color to a different color scheme that didn't use the faulty blue lighting. After some time of a week I was able to go back to the blue static color and all seemed good and I am having no more issues.
Another small issue I had was the expectation of overclocking. Since it had a water cooler I thought this motherboard could be overclocked to the extreme. Sadly I was disappointed that the AsRock Motherboard included didn't have as many overclocking bells and whistles as their Taichi x370 motherboard line. But I was still able to achieve a 5ghz overclock on the processor just couldn't tune everything I wanted.
The last and final issue I had is with the power supply. I was shocked it wasn't modular and the cable management was a mess in the back when I went to add two more hard drives in the hard drive mounting brackets in the back. This made me quickly change it out with a EVGA 750 watt power supply that was modular so I could make the case clean and easy to add new components to the machine and remove unnecessary wires from the case.
But with those complaints out of the way this computer runs amazing! I am able to not only render 4k video in amazing time frames but also play all my favorite games at high resolution at 144hz or higher at 1440P! If you don't want to build a high powered machine but wan't something quick and easy to setup for yourself this is absolutely a great buy!

Got the bb953 a few weeks ago. It's stupid fast. I know I could have built one a bit cheaper, but it was more convenient to go this route.
Several reviews said that the psu's ibp uses are garbage. I was quite surprised when I discovered I had a Thermaltake PSU in mine. The ram in mine was a bit slow (adata 2666 16bg) but it's still fast.
Plays my games at ultra, and renders videos pretty quick.
I'm happy.
The keyboard sucks. The space bar gets stuck. I already had a better keyboard and mouse, not too worried about it.
The cable management was mediocre, I took care of that. Overall I'm pleased. No regrets.

Right out of the box this machine is fantastic!!! Absolutely no problems starting up, quiet, no flicker in the screen when taking pictures with the iPhone, click enter and bam!!! the screen is up. I always buy the biggest, best, and fastest with the hopes that the machine lasts 5 years. I added 16 GB Ram, a second SSD (2 TB), a second 27" monitor, an external DVD reader, a nice microphone

Had some problems with this PC and suspect that the power supply isn't adequate enough in some cases, but overall it performs as well as any five star review claims.
Mine came with the top two USB ports power cable disconnected. Also it overheated when playing Fortnite at epic settings on 1080p and the RGB lights started flickering off which definitely made me worry so I shut down the game (which is why I don't think the power supply is adequate). These definitely aren't minor problems but I can let it slide. I really don't know what to expect since this is my first gaming PC but it wasn't everything that I wanted it to be, that's for sure :(
Other than these issues, it is lightening fast and plays games pretty well. The start-up time is ridiculously quick so that's a big bonus.
Overwatch on max settings, 100% render scale, 1080p: 144 fps with rare drops
Apex Legends on max settings, 1440p: 80 - 130 fps (110 is good avg)
Fortnite on max settings, 1080p: mostly around 130 - 140 fps
Warframe on max settings, 1440p: 144 fps with rare drops
By the way, this is all with vertical sync on so it forced the GPU to run at native refresh rate (144hz). On Overwatch for sure it goes higher. I think these are all relatively good, but I thought it would do better with Fortnite.

So far my computer runs silently, quickly, and effectively. Legit no sounds from the fan. 5/5 on all fronts. Pair this with an ASUS 144hz and you got yourself a beast. The RTX 2080 combined with the i7 processor is magnificent. Plenty of space left inside the case for future upgrades. Choose this computer for the safest ultra gaming computer and if you plan to upgrade as years go by.
However be weary that there is no instructions on how to change the lighting (learned on my own.) They send you the software via a disc yet the computer has no disc reader. Luckily they pre-installed it. Also, Redownload or update the Geforce Driver software. Let's be honest the only true con is not having enough memory but if you consider it, 1 TB of SSD makes up for it. Just add your own additional SSD from your old computer.

The latest iteration of this build has a Z390 motherboard. https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z390%20Phantom%20Gaming%204/index.asp. It is a great setup to get into some of the latest tech, while allowing room for future upgrades. There are slots for more SSDs and HDDs. In addition, it has NVME compatibility. The Gen2 USB 3.1 is fast for USB transfers.
As is, the computer is really fast. RTX 2080, i7-8700k, and 16GB RAM is more than enough to see some amazing graphics on games. It is also great for VR, with a USB-C link in the RTX2080. This will be useful when the Oculus Quest has Oculus Link setup. https://www.oculus.com/blog/oculus-quest-at-oc6-introducing-hand-tracking-oculus-link-passthrough-on-quest-and-more/?locale=en_US

For the price this is the best gaming computer I have ever had. I am replacing a ASUS gaming computer that is the second ASUS I have had. The first one I had to send back after 1 month and the second I should have sent back because it is a hunk of garbage. I love the IBUYPOWER that I have been using now for 3 weeks. It never heats up It runs very cool even though I have games on one screen and YouTube going on the other screen. I also use it to play with the Oculus while showing what I am seeing on our 65 inch QLED television. When I tried this with the ASUS the card would get so hot it could burn you if you touched it. I like that I can play any game and with the 2080 graphics card I can stream as well without overheating. Love this computer.

I just picked this up at my local best buy. They had in stock and ready to go, I also picked up an additional 2 TB hard drive as this one only had the 1 TB SSD installed. When I got it home it was well packed and secured. It also included a gamers keyboard and mouse. As I already have a higher end Keyboard and Mouse I will be using those instead. It was easy to find and install the 3.5 inch hard drive mount on the non glass side of the unit. Note: I also had to buy a SATA cable with hard drive not included. The 2TB hard drive was easy to mount but the SATA cable was a little difficult to plug in because of the location of the port but I was able to get it installed. I would have given a 5 star if not for the sloppy cable management under the metal cover. All the wires were loose and just haphazardly stuffed in. I had to untangle them and locate my plugs and had a difficult time closing up the case because of this.
I am having problems getting my serial numbers off off the Video card which appears to be an ASUS card to submit for warranty information and will probably need to take it out.
Other than that it was well packaged and once my new HD was installed it fired right up. The RGB case lights are nice. The computer went through start up no problem and appears to be running pretty quickly. Due to my location and internet service I cannot fully review its gaming speeds as I am currently downloading all my games.
I am running Dual monitors and they were easy to connect and were easily recognized by the video card.
One other thing I need to confirm and verify is online it stated it came with Battlefield 5, Anthem and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 digital download bundles free with purchase of qualifying RTX 2080 cards. I expected to find digital download cards in the packaging but there were none, I do not know if this is an I buypower promotion, Nvidia Graphics card promotion or a best buy promotion it does not clearly state how to claim. I will be following up with best buy on my next visit.
I am excited and looking forward to running and testing this system.

As the time this review is written, a purchase of this powerhouse will prevent from upgrading for another 3-4 years. This machine will take anything you throw at it, 4K or 144hz, doesn't matter. The machine itself is absolutely beautiful, and the customization of the RGB makes it even prettier. This is the pc to buy this year, its top of the line, and wont ever let you down. The only thing I find bad about this whole package is the keyboard, only after about a couple hours of use, I noticed that the space bar is already sticking when pressed down, as if someone poured apple juice on it. so when buying this pc, you may want to buy your own keyboard. Its not like this is bad or anything, these cheapo keyboards are standard for products like this. just be weary.
tl;dr The IBUYPOWER gaming desktop you see above is an amazing pc for its price, I can not tell you how much this computer is worth it, if you're in the market to upgrade like it did, then this is worth it.

I got this PC when it was on sale for $1550. I thought for the specs it was a STEAL and I was right!
This PC is quiet like I can't hear anything when it's on, playing games while streaming.
The RTX 2080 is killer. In most games I am playing at 200+ fps.
I was hesitant about getting a desktop with just 1 TB SSD since I have a lot of games and applications on my PC but so far I haven't had any issues. You can also add more storage if need be.
This PC did come with a mouse and keyboard but I just put it on my shelf and bought new ones since they looked cheap.

First off, I tend to build my own PC's, but when I saw that this had just about the same specs as what I was planning on putting together, with the addition of hassle-free liquid-cooling? And three free AAA games?? I was sold. Out of the box boot times were ridiculously fast, installation was smooth minus a minor driver issue but that's the easiest fix you can hope for. So far I've played Battlefield V, Sea of Thieves, Fortnite, and Guild Wars 2 with graphics maxed at 1080p and it stays easily >100fps (this will drop with an increase in resolution for those graced with a better display). If you need a powerful PC and don't want to stress building one with the same specs as something like this, look no further.

Purchased this PC solely for gaming, primarily X Plane 11, in order to obtain the max graphics settings possible while maintaining high FPS. Out of the box the PC was ready to run. I almost felt I was missing something as set-up was so quick and effortless. There were a few driver updates, but they were optional and not required. I do recommend downloading the MSI Afterburner software to tweak your graphics card and settings. High end components for a great price!

Looked at building my own but didn't seem to have the time. When this went on sale and using a special coupon for 24 months zero interest financing, buying a prebuilt made perfect sense. This computer is fast! ibuy is using brand name parts such as a WD blue SSD drive, Gigibyte Video card and power supply, Asus Motherboard. Case is spacious and wiring was neat, almost too neat as it was hard to move the power cables to add a second SSD I had. When I first plugged it in there was a God awful noise coming from the rear fan/water cooling unit. I was able to quickly remove the fan/cooler and move the wire that had dislodged during shipping, no big deal. With that out of the way this thing is very quiet and runs cool. Haven't tested it on any demanding games but I am very confident it will handle any games out there. Looking forward to trying Metro Exodus on Ultra settings!

So far it is super fast and Quiet. Easy to set up. Purchased this just for gaming sine my iMac was not cutting it in PC mode. I needed more power to play my games. So far this beats what I need. It has more than what the recommended system requirements are needed to play my top two games. If you are looking for a gaming computer with liquid cooling system and don't want to pay over $2000 dollars then this is the one for you.

I have always built my own gaming computers but this time I found myself strapped for time and decided to buy a pre-built tower for the first time. My initial impression of the system is that it is of high quality. It has an i7-8700k which is liquid-cooled by what appears to be a Corsair H50 or H55 which has been branded with the iBUYPOWER logo with added RGB lighting. As I was told by the sales rep in the store, the internal components will vary from tower to tower as iBUYPOWER utilizes whichever brands they are able to get at the best price to keep the cost of these towers down. My tower had different components than the display in store. My tower contained the following components:
MSI RTX 2080
ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard
Apacer 2x8gb DDR4 @2400mhz
ADATA SU800 1tb SSD
I have not checked the brand of the power supply or wattage as of yet but wanted to give an example of the branding of the components.
PROS:
Ease of Setup- this computer worked great right out of the box. Installed a few games, copied some files, and installed windows updates. Then I was ready to game.
The Price - I found the tower to be very well priced at $1,799. This build comes with an i7-8700k and an RTX 2080. These two components were my primary draw to this build. To build your own tower, these two items alone would top $1,000 if purchased separately.
Cable Management - When it comes to looking inside of a tower with a glass side panel nothing throws off the aesthetics of the build more than random cables sticking out everywhere. iBUYPOWER did an excellent job with cable management. All cables were zip-tied and neatly put away giving the inside a very clean look.
The Case- The computer case is a Mid-ATX tower with a clean design. The RGB lighting is controllable via software in windows. You can choose from a wide range of colors and lighting modes. The side panel is made from tempered glass and is easily removed as it is held on with thumbscrews.
The Sound- Some gaming towers come with fans that have very high CFMs which is great for cooling but might sound like your tower is preparing for lift-off. Even when I am running a graphics-intensive game such as Battlefield V on ultra settings, this system stays within a reasonable temperature range and I can barely hear it.
CONS:
Mystery Components - As mentioned above, these towers are not built with a uniform set of components. I am sure that iBUYPOWER has to use the brands that they are able to acquire at the best price. Unfortunately, this means that outside of the CPU and graphics card, you don't know exactly what you are buying and are likely to end up with some brands that you are not fully comfortable with or have mixed reviews. However, most of these items are easily replaced if you want to invest a little extra money in the tower.
Overall, I would recommend this tower to anyone who wants great performance at a reasonable price. So far I have been very impressed with the system and I would purchase from iBUYPOWER again.
