Let me preface my review by saying that I'm a very picky consumer. I went to Best Buy more than SEVEN times to look at computers and none of them had what I was looking for. I finally went to a different Best Buy location and based on what I told the sales associate I needed, he recommended this desktop. I attend school online and have to keep multiple programs and website tabs opened, so I needed a FAST computer. This computer exceeded my expectations and more. It's also very quiet I definitely recommended it!

Pros: Great price for what you are getting if you don't have the time to research and build your own machine. Five months in and this system is still lightning fast. The machine is a workhorse. No hangups whatsoever. Cons: The keyboard and mouse that come packaged are largely trash if you are looking to game, but that's not what you're buying this for anyway. The LEDs are annoying but adjustable. Have to do some research if you want them off when the computer sleeps. Verdict: Highly recommended.

So far, so good. The only reason its not getting 5 stars is the flimsy metal plate that covers the back port connectivity. Its not aligned and makes it impossible to use all USB ports. Guess I could adjust it with a pliers, but shouldn't be necessary to do on a computer at this price level. On a more positive note, this PC was equipped with a i7-9700K and not the advertised i7-8700k. It also have some other differences compared with the floor model, the Wifi is connected on a expansion card and not the mother board. Adding documentation that explains the exact configuration of the delivered computer would be helpful and reduce some of the research you have to do when you set it up. Overall very pleased with the performance.

So far this iBuypower BB953 has exceeded my expectations. The graphics are spectacular and I have not had any issues the computer. I consider the mouse and keyboard to be subpar and have replaced them. I have added a second SSD card and a 6tb WD black hard drive for my video editing. I don't think you can go wrong if you decided to purchase this system. I researched computers for weeks and considered computers in the 4 to 5k range and then I just decided to try this ibuypower and am very happy so far.

There are plenty reviews out here on this PC already and they are mostly accurate. This is a solid machine with excellent performance. However, I struggled with finding a solid answer with regards to upgrading the RAM, so now that I own it, here is my experienced review. Yes, the RAM is upgradeable to 64GB. I actually upgraded mines to 64GB and added a 1TB 2.5 Solid State Drive (SSD) and another 1TB NVME - M.2 SSD SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS in addition to the 1TB SSD it comes with. The NVME drive I added is the small slim SSD that looks like a computer chip that has to be attached directly to the mother board. The read speed on this particular SSD is 3,500 MB/s vs the 550 MB/s on a standard SSD. With these upgrades everything works perfect. FYI - Installing any memory upgrade with speeds over 2666 MHZ, will require you to modify/overclock the BIOS settings a bit to use the higher speeds. It's super easy to do though and takes one minute. These are two things I was trying to research prior to my purchase and was unable to find straight answers to, so I wanted to write a quick review on them. Hope this helps the next person.

Very fast gaming pc with great components. Can’t beat the core i7 8700 k and the RTX 2080 with 1TB SSD for the price.

I was debating about getting IBUYPOWER, until I played on one of them with my cousin, but he had the older version, I wanted a 16gb ram and a Nivedia 2080, and this model had it all, I play PUBG on my laptop and was getting 35fps only even with lowest graphic settings, but with this beast I’m getting 155fps easy with the highest ULTRA graphics, and its making my gaming experience to the top! The Keyboard and Mouse that come with it are amazing, keep the good work IBUYPOWER!

So out of the box there were some issues. First, some of the ports were loose. One of the WIFI antenna ports was so loose the antenna couldn't stand up on it. The USB's on top were also not tight. So all that needed to be fixed. Then when trying to fire up for the first time I got stuck in a loop of windows faling to load, please restart. After searching youtube I found a pretty easy fix that did work. Hold Shift and F10, type regedit....that's the video to follow if you find it. A few other bugs as well, like the windows store being completely dead. I will have to reload that from somewhere else. I ended up upgrading from my usual 4 port USB expansion to 7 due to there only being 6 in total out of the box. Once everything was situated, the device is incredibly speedy and handles a high work load. The graphics card is worth every penny. It's $700 stock and is really have the cost of this PC almost. They include 2 disks, one for y our windows installation, and 1 for NVidia, which is pointless with no disc drive. you would have to buy and install one in a pinch. All in all, I was a little aggravated that I had to trouble shoot so many things with this high price tag. For $1800 bucks I want plug in play, not to fix shotty work by whoever put this thing together. And really, test to make sure windos is installed correctly. Seems like basic stuff to be doing if you are putting together and selling PC's. The light up features are pretty cool. Its not as loud as I thought it would be. Adding or removing drives will be a cinch with the glass wall easily removed. Still to me, out of the box functionality is worth 5 stars. Having to tighten ports and fix windows cost it the 5 star review. I would not recommend for the inexperienced user.

Purchased about a week ago and absolutely love it. I’ve mostly used macs in recent years but I do not miss them at all. Amazing speed and amazing design. Does everything I need and much more.

So to summerize a long story short, the original PC I had bought was an Alienware, and was very disappointed with it. I returned it and looked at this machine, because it was similarly speced, and I must I love this PC. I was surprised on how well I like this machine. I never really heard of iBUYPOWER before and was a little cautious, however it lives up to the name. Its powerful, quiet and just what I was looking for. I could recommend for sure.

My first gaming pc and I couldn't be happier. If you don't want to deal with the complications of building your own pc, you can't go wrong with this. I got this one on sale so it was a no brainer. I'm running Metro: Exodus, Anthem, Battlefield V, Dying Light, Euro Truck Sim without any issues. (not at the same time of course) Yes it was a bit pricey but it was worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking to get into pc gaming and even veterans.

Was a little hesitant on purchasing as the price was a bit too high for me but thankfully Best Buy had the 18 month financing deal so I went ahead and took advantage of that. Shipped to my house in just 2 days! Set up was very easy and had no issues at all. Only used it for a few hours so far and I can already tell it’s way better than my old machine. Such a beast and I’m really enjoying it so far. Glad I made the purchase

If your looking for lots of gaming power at a reasonable cost, this is a very good pre-configured system. With the Best Buy sale for $1799 you can't configure a system at that price. It is all name brand parts, motherboard is a specific reconfig for Ibuypower. Performance is great, absolutely silent when it runs, boots very fast. Though keep in mind there is no CD/DVD drive, you will have to use an external drive. Great system!

I just got this computer hooked up today and so far I am loving it. It is very quick and responsive to anything I throw at it. The graphics are amazing and I love the aesthetic look of the computer. And to top it all off I just happened to check Best Buy's deals of the day and got them to price match and got back another $300.00. But even at full price this computer is worth it!

I didn't buy this PC for playing games, but rather instead for developing them. I needed something powerful to run software for 3D modeling and game development such as 3DS Max, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Unity, and Unreal (of course, also the typical graphics software such as Adobe Photoshop). With just the given 16 GB of RAM and the awesome graphics card, I haven't come close to stressing it, yet I find comfort knowing the motherboard will handle up to 64 GB RAM if ever I choose to beef it up more. It came with a nice gaming mouse and keyboard, although I already had my preferred units. Still, it's nice to have the backup items on stand-by now. I am too old and too tired to build my own PCs anymore, but I still like them to be powerful, so this has been a great deal in that regard. The only thing I didn't really like was all the fancy-smancy LED lighting inside, which shined through the glass side; keeping me up at night. Also, it doesn't have a DVD player, but that's understandable since those too are now on their way to extinction. However, I found that you can turn those off with the Polychrome Sync app. I actually want to install some hefty games now to see how well this machine performs, but for the development and CGI work I'm doing, it's great.

The rig is solid for someone looking to buy an intro gaming system and they don't want to have to think about it. It's got a good CPU, good single video card, good CPU cooler, good RAM, and an OK board. It's not a power rig. A couple hours of research and you can build an air cooled rig for half the price. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't need a PC that day. It does what it's meant to do. It's a no frills and no mess system with room for expansion, but I wouldn't bother without replacing the MOBO first.

This PC is an outstanding value if you can get it on sale. Great CPU, 1tb SSD, memory, and it comes with the new GeForce 2080 which should be plenty good for even the most demanding video tasks. If you need a desktop for games or image processing you will not be disappointed.

Great computer for my first one, but I was one day late for the promotion for the 2 free games which sucked. I was also supposed to receive COD 4 for free and it wasn't printed on the receipt. Other then that every game I have played on this machine so far looks great!!! Runs very smoothly, quiet, and cool. No problems here and I am very happy.
