I have tried every update, download, every setting change and I cannot get this computer to stop crashing well running simple games on the steam platform. Im not sure if its a major component/ Hardware problem or this Intel graphics card or windows 11.. Its been frustrating I can't find customer service from bestbuy or ibuypower and with a ridiculous short 15-day window for a return, I just maybe out of luck and stuck with a gameing computer that won't play Simple games. My son has been telling me to return it for a week and i missed the window by two days because I thought I could fix it with software updates.

The old advice of stay away from pre-built computers is I believe slowly starting to become a false narrative. Is this iBuypower pc the ultimate gaming computer...no its not but it holds its own very well. Let me start off with the negatives, The Intel Arc gpu is interesting it works pretty well with modern games from the last couple of years but is very hit and miss with anything older. I am still able to run most games above 60fps as long at 1080p, going up to 1440 your not going to hit 60fps on some more demanding games, and forget about 4k for the most part that is not what this card is about. The CPU is pretty darn good and will last for a good amount of time. The ram is a bit on the slower side but at least you get a nvme drive with an ssd. In terms of upgradeability your biggest issue is going to be the power supply. at only 600 watts you do not have much room to improve your gpu so your going to want to change that out if you want to upgrade the GPU.
I will say this system performed a bit better than I expected and it is a great starting system to learn and upgrade over time.
The design of the case is very nice and the RGB is not too over the top. Cooling has not been an issue even while playing some modern games like Gotham Knights, Need for speed unbound, destiny 2.
Overall you wont have any trouble's playing modern games with this system and having upgradeability makes this a great purchase for someone looking to get into PCs.

There are some caveats...

Once you get past driver torture, it's a decent machine. Out of the box, I kept getting prompted for missing Arc drivers despite multiple reinstallations. The BSOD crashes added to the troubleshooting torture.
Knowing that I was going to upgrade my SSD to a Samsung 980 Pro, I bit the bullet and did a clean install of Windows. The SSD that comes with the machine is a slow/cheap drive with 1,500/2,500 read/write speeds. After swapping it out for the Samsung 980 Pro I was getting much snappier 5,500/7,500 read/write speeds.
Even what should've been a simple drive swap turned into a nightmare. Microsoft wouldn't let me reset Windows, the installer kept saying that this machine is not compatible with Windows 11... even though it was already on Windows 11. Updating the BIOS + drivers did the trick and after a day of nonsense, DCOM permission errors, and the Arc overlay hijacking Windows and forcing me to reboot -- the crashes stopped and the machine behaved itself all week.
The 12-core 12700 in this machine is an upgrade from my 8-core 9900K and I saw noticeable speed gains. I installed Conda and ran several BERT models with the CPU maxed out at 100% for hours without crashing or throttling. Most of the machine learning libraries I tested, didn't take advantage of Arc GPU, but I expect that to change over the next year just as it did with Apple Silicon.
I'm pushing 2 4K monitors + a 1440P monitor and the Arc doesn't break a sweat. I have yet to test Arc's gaming capabilities, but existing benchmarks show it'll easily outperform my RTX 2080.
For the price, this is a great deal. There's plenty of room in the case to upgrade components later.

A Fantastic PC Held Back by an Odd Choice in GPU

PC Review
Long story short, this is an all around great PC that’s held back by the choice in GPU.
I’ve had a lot of PCs in the last few years both pre-built and custom. This unit from iBuyPwer is definitely the best pre built machine I’ve ever used.
The case design, lighting, and overall look of the computer is fantastic. RGB lighting is like salt. You probably want a little but too much and it can ruin the food. This PC balances itself really well between being too bland and being over-salted.
The IO is solid although, I wish there was a USB-C port.
As far as specs go, they’re pretty respectable. The 12th get i7 is a solid CPU. It has a pretty low base clock but turbos super well. I was getting clock speeds over 4.8Ghz without changing any OC settings. It’s also water cooled - which is nice. 16GB of RAM is a solid amount for a gaming PC. It has the standard “small SSD for a boot drive and bigger HDD for games” storage system that’s pretty common but the SSD is an NvME drive, which I wasn’t expecting. Again, nice touch.
It ships with the home edition of Windows 11. Some people may like that, some may not care, some might not like it. I’m in the last group. I would have much preferred it ship with Windows 10 but I suppose if that’s a huge bummer for you, you can always wipe W11 and install W10 instead. Easy fix.
The only real problem I have with this machine is the odd choice in GPU. This Intel card may be cost effective but performance and compatibility just aren’t up to par with the competition. My main game on PC is Halo: MCC. With just that and discord in the background, I was getting anywhere between 28 and 60 fps in game at 1080p, averaging probably around a choppy 35 or so. That’s just not good. On top of that, it’s not compatible with Oculus link. So if (like me) you’re looking forward to playing steam VR games using an Oculus headset, you’re out of luck. Intel cards just aren’t supported.
To make sure the GPU was the issue, I swapped it out with a 3070 I had on hand and it was a TOTALLY different experience. Everything ran great. No frame rate issues. No compatibility issues. Post GPU swap, this PC has found a permanent place in my living room. But those GPU issues make it hard to recommend.
It’s really sad because overall, iBuyPower did a fantastic job on this unit. If it shipped with a different graphics card, it would be an instant recommend. It absolutely shines in every other way. As it stands though, unless you’re willing to put up with the pains of being an early adopter of Intel GPUs (or willing to pick up a different graphics card and swap it out either right away or down the road), I can’t really recommend this PC.

AWESOME GAMING PC

I think this is an AWESOME product, especially if you are a gamer as it is able to keep pace with high performance gaming content. The fact that it is an i7 demonstrates its ability to be top-notch, rank and houses a great processor. The overall look is different being that everything can be viewed from the outside takes quite of getting used to. Also, it shows the manufacture is confident in their product as there isn't anything to hide which represents solid build quality in my opinion. I appreciate the colors as they build excitement when gaming. The keyboard has a variety of colors that I like and it is very responsive when playing games. The mouse is quite catchy and easy to use too. It was very easy and WiFi friendly to use as I did not encounter any problems when connecting to my home's WIFI. It runs off the Windows environment which is always easy to adapt to and use.
This is my first experience with IBUYPOWER, however, this has been a pleasant experience from many perspectives.

Great pc for beginner gamer.

If I could give this desktop and 4 1/2 I would. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 is that this is considered a gaming PC and for some games I would have to do a fresh restart to get them to load.
For appearances, this is a very cool looking pc out of the box. The blue lights are bright, the fans are very quiet and keep the cpu and you cool.
This is what I noticed with performance in some of my games.
Far cry 4 @1080p ultra: 70-80fps avg
Gta V @1080p ultra: 110-120 fps avg
Cyberpunk 2077 @1080p ultra: 45-60 fps avg
Ark @1080p ultra: 70-80fps avg
No man’s sky @1080p high: 90-100fps avg
Overall this pc is pretty good if you’re playing at 1080p or maybe 1440p and don’t play VR. The cpu is very fast and the gpu may not put out the best numbers on paper but I surprisingly didn’t notice its drawbacks all that often. The biggest issues I had were that sometimes drivers wouldn’t load properly and games wouldn’t start until I restarted the pc, sometimes games would crash, and sometimes games would stutter pretty badly for about 20 seconds upon starting a game for the first time but then the frame rate would settle in after that time. Most of these problems will likely either be fixed by intel soon or could be fixed with a fresh reset of the pc.
Overall for a beginner or intermediate gaming pic this is a good pc.

Powerful for the price with a few nit-picks

I've been a PC gamer for close to 30 years now, and I used to build my own PCs but it really isn't worth the time and effort anymore. This unit is packed with some of the latest, fastest components and games seem to really benefit from them. I'm seeing FPS counts higher than ever before, although I have some older games that assume certain graphics cards and can't get a full read from the brand-new A750. This is also my first water cooled setup, and I love how quiet it is. A couple of nit-picks I would make (although they're not enough to drop it to 4 stars from 5): iBuyPower redirects you to the component makers for drivers and updates - which means you have to be an advanced user to determine how to update the BIOS (which can be crucial if you intend to overclock), and they didn't really bother to rebrand any of the software components. It boots up with the motherboard manufacturer's name (ASRock), and the only indications that it's iBuyPower are the keyboard/mouse/case logo, and a link to their site. Also, it comes with Windows 11, but the LED control software that is pre-installed has been deemed "risky" by the latest Windows updates, so they don't work. Finding the correct ones for this PC is quite difficult if that matters to you.

I got this PC and the setup was simple with great instructions. It runs smoothly for basic games like Fortnite and other games that don't require higher end specs. Games like Warzone can still run fine, there just may be times when the computer may struggle in some ways. Overall, you get what you pay for with this PC, I would say it's even better. Definitely a good first PC.
