Ice Age: Continental Drift is funny, and I had fun watching it and looked forward to seeing what this weird herd is up to now. It is the fourth installment of the Ice Age series and the seventh CG production of Blue Sky Studios and the first sequel not to be directed by Carlos Saldanha who will be directing RIO part 2. What I love most about this flick is the introduction of a partner for Diego; a white tiger lady is added ladies and gentlemen. The movie also has the whole fun of the old clichés, which I seem not to be tired of seeing. It also showcases cool CG effect; I loved the water effect most. The plot was educational (as long as you know it is bogus) due to Scrat's (Squirrel) hunt for acorns he triggers the break-up of the world continent into the continents as we know them today, which cause Manny to lose his family. Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure to find his family, after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world, and learn why it is good to be part of a family herd, than being part of a group where one person leads and other follow. Well, the new directors weren't that bad, as the movie did have some fun screenplays and events that you will be thrilled to see. As we watch this creatures move from the Ice Age to the present age the pictures tell stories that are kind of informative and entertaining. Hey! I must have missed that geography class when they taught that Scrat the squirrel created the whole world. Although this is not the best addition to the Ice Age series it was fun to watch. And the movie kind of opens doors to new additional sequels.

I didn't care for it as much as some of the other Ice Age movies. I got it for the grandkids and they seemed to enjoy it.

As the "world" of these characters continues to expand, so does the cast of characters. That's the major draw back of the last few films. That being said this film does have a marked improvement over the last film. It's a fairly harmless movie, that offers some laughs and decent enough family entertainment. However, If you're still around after the third entry in this animated series, you're most likely not going to care about this review.

My son loves the Ice Age movies so I bought this one. He absolutely loves it. Typical Ice Age, plenty of humor for the kids with a few adult jokes thrown in for the parents. This one is quite a bit different because most of it takes place on the water and involves pirates, which was a nice change up for the series.

A fun continuation of the Ice Age films. If you are a fan of the Ice Age movies and haven't grabbed this one, I would recommend it. It is funny and and my daughter certainly enjoys it. As with a lot of movies now, I'm glad to see the sets packaged with a Blu-Ray, DVD, and some sort of digital copy. It just makes it easy to keep the DVD in the car for the kids, while having the Blu-Ray at home.

We love the movie and even though dvds are kind of out of trend with all the streaming services we love to play it in our van for our toddler daughter, priceless entertainment! Specially useful for long trips!

It was ok for price not that good of a kid movie not worth over $5

This is the 4th movie in this Ice Age series (aside from the 2 spinoff videos) They all are good and funny. We got this one for our 5 year old and she loved it just as much as she loved the first 2. She hasn't seen the 3rd one yet :(

The Ice Age Movies are so much fun and we just love them at our house. Continental Drift was awesome and we thought it was a great movie. We love the cute characters and hope there is another Ice Age movie in the works.

The kids love the film but for adults not so much fun

I always enjoy shopping at Best Buy.I brought movie tapes from Best Buy in the past. I forgot I had a Best Buy credit card. I have not seen the card in years and I don't know where I put it. I will order another one and I will use it I thank you for your services.

This sequel is even farther out into absurd than the first movies, but still has some very funny bits. I always feel sorry for Scrat & appreciate Manny's world-weary outlook. The fights are pretty cartoony, so most kids ought to be OK with it. I suppose it could be sillier, the next one has Aliens abducting Scrat!

The 4th Ice Age movie and it's good like the others as well. If you have seen any of the other 3 then you know the type of movie you are getting into. That said, it does branch off in a new direction in the story and makes a nice stress on family as well.

My daughter loves the Ice Age Franchise, so we were pleased to be able to get a copy of the latest movie at a reasonable price. Thanks to Best Buy Rewards, it was even cheaper! Only 4 stars, because I, personally, am a bit tired of the antics of Manny, Diego, and Sid...

"Ice Age Continental Drift" is a crazy good time with Sid,Manny,Diego and all of our old "Prehistoric Pals" in a fun filled adventure with a misfit crew of pirates! Plus there are great Special Features and deleted scenes!

Sequels are rarely as great as the first movie, but Ice Age sequels aren't too bad. This one isn't my favorite, but its still pretty cute. The Grandma Sloth is a great addition to this movie franchise. She makes me laugh.

I bought this as a birthday present for my 7 year old niece. She LOVED it!!! She was so excited about getting it, she made her dad play it right away. She couldn't thank me enough for getting her this movie!

The fourth installment of the Ice Age Quadrilogy has a great storyline that centers around pirates and how the main characters have to work together to overcome some dangerous situations. It's good, clean fun for the whole family.

She loves the Ice Age movies. I love the Ice Age movies. I got tired of watching the same movie 250+ times with her so I introduced her to a collection that I also enjoy. Call me greedy or call me the smartest man alive.
