Well, it had good action. Lol. I love Donnie Yen movies, but this one kinda missed the mark for me. This movie was a continuation from the first 'Iceman' movie, but I think that since they took so long to make this one, that they may have forgotten the rules of the time traveling device from the first movie. They said in the first movie that the device could only be used 3 times, and that somehow, someone had already used it once, so it could only be used 2 more times before it won't work anymore. In the first movie, Donnie Yen used it to jump forward through time, so it was only supposed to be used one more time, but in this movie they kept using it over and over again. They also forgot that the old medicine man from the first movie could not talk to Donnie Yen directly, because he needed a translator, but in this movie the old man kept talking to Donnie Yen directly without a translator. Why so many inconsistencies??

Although the action and Choreography is fantastic, it feels at times as though this movie was part of a broader storyline. Unfortunately, there were unexplained sequences in the movie to explain for instance, how it is that he can travel through time. If you’re only interested in the action sequences, you won’t be disappointed. If you like every aspect of a movie detailed and explained, you’ll feel that aspect lacking.

If any one into action martial and sword fighting from Donnie Yen , then this is another movie to add to your collection sound great with your home theater setup come with English audio. Too .

part 2 of Ice Man, is not as good as the first one. But if your a Donnie Yen fan like me check it out. The story could have been good but got all jumbled up. the fight scenes of course were good as always, he has another one called Big Brother, which looks way better.

I really had high hopes for this movie. Donnie Yen is probably THE #1 baddest martial artist in movies today. First there was Bruce, then Jackie Chan, then the astounding Jet Li, and now the TotalBad a** Donnie Yen! But this movie definitely failed to showcase his skills... AT ALL! There really wasn’t even any fighting in it, the story jumped around too much, and it was just kind of weak all around. Not BAD per say, but not on the level of IP MAN either... which was a FANTASTIC and near PERFECT movie! There’s a few more Yen movies I want to see... hoping they are far better and with more action than this one., which was actually more of a love story than a martial arts flick.

I actually enjoyed the movie. Definitely could’ve been put together better like others have already said, but I still enjoyed it!

This is a pretty good martial arts movie and I've been a martial arts fan since I was lil and the storyline is pretty good.

I try to always watch movies with Donnie Yen in them. He was so good in IP MAN series

Donnie Yen is always best in martial art action. He never let you down in his movie.

This is like most of the Chinese made movies. The sub titles really don't do much for the story. There is some good action, but not much else.

It could be worse, was suprised it was closed caption. I don't mind by my roommate doesn't care for CC movies.

I returned this purchased because it was not in English. Don’t get me wrong I love foreign films and have purchased many. Any other day I might have kept it and watched the subtitles. I reviewed the trailer. I would recommend this if you don’t mind having to watch the subtitles.

If you like him and his work then watch it. If not so much then don’t bother

Excellent movie. Donnie Yen is a favorite since I've been following Into The Badlands. I don't like to give away plots, so just look at the price and the acting talent. Thanks, BestBuy
