If I Stay is definitely an emotional tearjerker that pulls on your heartstrings, even though it does drag a bit before its abrupt end. There were genuine endearing moments and ones of humor, but my biggest problem with teen-centric movies like this are teenagers portrayed as living lives of adults - late night clubs, drinking, spending the night with each other, etc. This is a good, not great movie. But my eyes were definitely watering.
