I was a little disappointed thinking I had purchaced a dom clamp/c-ring combo. Did my research and have been properly grounded by OSHA standards banging on our shag carpet ever since.
TLDR It fits around my wrist (at the least) and I ain't blowned up yet.

Ive used this a couple times while upgrading various hardware components in my computers. Works as intended. No electrostatic damage caused to any of my electronics.

Im always worried about shocking my computer when im working on it. This helps me worry less lol. I rubbed a ballooj on myself anf touched something metal and of course their was a shock. I then tried it again with the writst band and touched the metal bar while the clip was connected to it and i didnt get shocked. Im glad to know it works and won't have to worry about shocking my tech.

This is an essential item for those who need to work with the insides of sensitive electronics, like computers. It works well, and fits my relatively large wrist at its maximum diameter. It works well, and I recommend it.

This product is something that I do not consider to be very important, as most computer parts or similar components now have very good grounding technology. If you are working on older technology or something that would not have this technology though, it is very nice. Either way, for peace of mind, this is a very cheap product that's worth it and it has the typical quality of iFixit products(good).

if youre building custom computers or electronics and not using this i feel bad for you, you could destroy your expensive project at any moment, or you can protect it and your parts investments with this super cheap and super reliable and easy to use tool

Even though I'm pretty sure I didn't NEED this, it was nice to know that I wouldn't have fried my computer had I not used it.
Never had any issues with static nuking my system when I lived in colorado (very dry) but I moved to washington and i've managed to zap my computer and trip the surge protector multiple times, this definitely helped me at least feel safer in terms of upgrading parts.

It's fairly comfortable and affordable. I suppose the cord could be longer and less taut to allow for greater freedom when working around a larger table/space. I like to remain "grounded" and still able to move around and reach, without constantly clipping and un-clipping from the workspace. But this is minor and can be adapted. Better to be safe and have it than to be sorry. Esp with expensive parts.
