This kit saved me few hundred dollars. When I wanted to upgrade Ram and SSD for my old windows laptop, Best Buy Total Tech estimated $250+ for the installation. I would provide them the Ram and SSD myself and they would just open and install it (running some diagnostic as well, which I think, not required, Windows can do it by default). I bought this with unused expiring reward certificates, and easily opened my laptop by referring some YouTube videos and replaced laptop HDD with New Samsung EVO SSD and upgraded RAM to it by myself. After that, my 6+ years budget laptop becomes great again and saves me few hundred bucks. This toolkit has immense potential and can be used many DIY repair program for various electronic devices if you know how to do it. I may not utilize it extensively for any device repair by myself ( I am pretty novice and did one time out of desperation) but even with only onetime usage also, it fulfilled the value I paid for. This is great toolkit for DIY repair program and and essential tool for Right to Repair movement. Attached screenshot is what I did for my Windows Laptop (pretty basic, any body can do)!

I bought this to get into my girlfriends laptop and look at the fans, was super easy, everything has its own foam slot, the top also has a grid pattern on the reverse side so when its opened it becomes a tray, ive used the kit for everything from electronics, to glasses, to TUNING A CARBURETOR on my lawnmower, the bits havent stripped or shown any damage either and I have this kit out at least once a week

I recently picked up a new "open box" HP laptop from Best Buy. I got a great deal and is the BEST laptop that I've ever used. I, of course, wanted to upgrade it but found myself not having the tools to open it up properly. It's a long story but, suffice to say, a lot of my tools were stolen/lost recently. I've only used this kit a few times, but it made getting into my new HP laptop a dream. It has the proper sized bits for getting to the unique sized screws, the proper plastic tools for opening up the laptop without scratching it, and the bits are even magnetic which helps keep you from dropping them. Overall, I'm very satisfied and happy with this kit. If you find yourself wanting to get into your PCs, laptops, or other electronic devices, this is the one and only toolkit you'll need.

My Son’s PS5 was continuously overheating and shutting down. I purchased this kit to fix the issue. I had some tools but not everything needed. This kit had everything I needed. Once apart I was able clean all dust that was causing the issues and then put back together. No issues with it shutting down after that. I will say my son was a little nervous as he watched.

Perfect set of tools to have laying around if youre even remotely interested in trying to fix some electronics before you throw them away. Every bit i’ve needed was always in this set when my other sets were missing bits.

This kit is great for people looking to repair/customize electronics. I’ve been using it for a while now and it hasn’t failed me yet. All the tools are great quality and get the job done, and allowed me to take apart an iPhone 7 in a matter of minutes (see picture)
