It's compact enough to go with you and you'll never need to hunt an odd bit. This is in the IT world though, others I'm not too sure about. Everything feels heavy duty as well.

Has every bit I'll probably ever need in a great little case.

I have bought similar kits over more than 30 years for computers and electronics. This one is by far the best quality I ever had, and it has the right selection for today’s more compact gear. No flimsy bits that bend when you need to torque. The magnetic lid closure works great, with no worries about a plastic snap breaking, This lid stays on, unless you want in.

I am constantly disassembling Xbox controllers and Dell laptops and the Mako 64-Bit Driver Kit made my life much easier. Super easy to use and various options for different sets of screws. With this kit I feel like I am able take apart anything!

Very happy with this set. I had a very stubborn, old screw in a GBA SP that refused to turn with my powered srewdriver or with the rubberband trick. With a little effort this set got the screw out where nothing else i did could get it to budge.

I'm honestly so glad I bought this because without it I probably would have had to spend hours looking for the right size tools. This saves me so much time and effort. It is a bit pricey I would say, but because you can use this for basically anything it's worth it.

I purchased this in a quick hurry to complete a job for a client and it turned our great. I love things from ifixit. All the bits are strong and well made. The cover for the case doubles as a screw holder and thats really nice. I would def purchase again!!

Great tool kit for the price, its nice to have the different bits for small computer components and has a nice case.

Nince little tool set if you ever need to open up your phone or even tighten a screw on your glasses. Magnetic case makes it easier to open without need to deal with latches or hard to open cases.

Nice set of tools for working on my MacBook Pro, the various Apple phone I have (or will get), and my older iPods. This set had the 3 common pentalobe sizes for my purposes, so I went ahead and made the purchase. It’s a little pricey, but so far it seems like a quality set, and I like the case which has a cover that uses magnets. I’ve also have good experiences with iFixit, so it solidified the deal.

I wanted to upgrade my daughter's laptop. I had a few small screwdrivers so I thought I was covered. Went to do the upgrade and of course the screwdrivers I had weren't small enough. I got this set and the quality is good and the case is nice too. I was able to complete the upgrade in just a few minutes thanks to my new driver set.

Everything you need to repair or give maintenance to your retro and new consoles. Nothing about this item feels cheap. Everything is of good quality. If your intent is to do small simple repairs to your consoles, get this box. If you are a technician, I recommend getting their next bigger box that includes many more pieces.

This set is really nice. I use it at work when taking computers and laptops apart.

superb kit. The handle is of high quality and very steady and sturdy to use and simple to spin in your hand. The bits are strong and don't strip screws or lose their durability when used. Superb array of bits to chose from, it's magnetised and very high quality. i wish i bought this sooner would have saved many stripped screws from their demise..

I am a cellphone and PC repair person and this iFixit Mako kit comes with almost all the bits i need for my job i would buy a bigger kit with more repair tools like suction cups and stuff but i didn't have enough money at the time...

If you work on electronics or RC cars like me, you'll love this set. You can get very inexpensive sets out there but you can tell when you use the driver and bits. This set is quality metal and you'll feel it when you use it. Comes with a nice case too with magnetic lid. Spend a little more and get something that's gonna last you and feels good in hand.

Honestly, if you are putting together a computer like I did. This is definitely worth spending a little money on. Plus you can use it for other electronic repairs and such. I watched several videos on putting together a computer, and they say all you need is a Philips head screwdriver...that is NOT TRUE. Hence where one of these bad boys comes in handy.
