"You get what you paid for". I just never thought that paying over $400 for a fridge would result in it breaking down one month after the warranty ends. The start relay board went down which means the compressor cannot power on and the part cost over $200. These electronic fridges consolidate all the switches and relays onto one board. Older fridges use to have them separate which will allow you to purchase a relay for $30 and they are simple to replace. Now a burned out switch will cost you $200 no matter what the issue is. If that's the case, you might as well get yourself a much better refrigerator that actually has tech support that can help you if something goes wrong. The tech support from Igloo was no help. Once you pass the one year warranty, you are on your own. Igloo provides no ongoing support and they will only read through the manual with you. Avoid this refrigerator.

The reviews were all good. A year later we have spoiled milk as the thing doesn't keep the refrigerator compartment cool enough.
