I don't have to worry about setting an alarm - Alexa does that for me. The sound is high quality and more than loud enough for a bedroom.

That's as much as you can say about it. It works as it should. The sound is good. But a regular Alexa device is a much better purchase that offers more functionality.

Nice Look and Feel But Unreliable

The unit routinely has to be restarted before it will respond to a voice command or reliably provide a waking alarm.

1. Please check your iHome Control App to Ensure your plugs are connected (click on the "i", and make sure it says Connect to iHome Cloud).
2. If not, please remove the smartplug from the outlet for 5 seconds and replace to reestablish cloud connection.
3. Go to the Alexa App -- Menu -- Skills --search iHome
4. Select iHome Smart Plug Control
5. Disable Skill -- Disable Skill (again)
6. Enable the skill
7. Log in with your iHome Control credentials -- Authorize -- Done.
8. Discover Devices (takes about 20 seconds). and you should be all set.

It took me longer than expected to set it up, but after watching a video on YouTube and after it was set up my kiddo listens to music and enjoys using Alexa. Also, having a clock makes him feel a bit more grown up.

The alarm clock is awesome! So convenient to just say Alexa, set alarm for 530am, and that's it. The alarm goes off with my favorite radio station!

I don't know if it would have went off if I had set the alarm before the internet went down!! Alexa is also a little slower then my Echo Dot at responding to questions and commands!! But overall very good!

The lights blink to the music and all other kinds of stuff! Will definitely be getting another one soon!! Much better than just a regular echo.

I like that it has Alexa as well. I went back and forth between this unit and the Amazon Echo Show and because the Echo Show doesn't have a USB port, I decided on this one. A screen would have been nice though.

Pretty simple set up and on top of that if you unplug it for whatever reason, once plugged back in all user presets are re loaded as if it never lost power in the first place. Loving that part the most. Lots of functions and Alexa, now I've got someone to talk to.

You can just talk to Alexa to set a wake up alarm and also have Alexa start music. You can also control the volume. The sound is excellent.

But works with Alexa and will give you basic information, that was the most important thing to me. You are able to add other stuff that works with Alexa.
