Posted .This unit give off 8 watts of audio output power. Please turn the volume all the way up on your phone and then the devices. it packs a punch and can entertain a Kindergarten classroom with 15 children.

I wanted something comparable to the Beats Pill and this was certainly not it! I retuned it because the sound was mediocre at best. Not at all what I expected from an iHome product.

Posted .The iBT84 offers 8 watts of audio output power. The competition speaker that you mentioned is three times the prices of the iBT84 and has 12.5 watts of audio output power. It is unfair to compare the two as they are in different classes. Compare the iHome iBT374 which price point is in the middle of the two and has 20 watts of audio output power. Then notice how your ears and wallet feel.

Posted .The iBT84 has 8 watts of audio output power which is much louder than a phone. Make sure you charge the unit for 4-6 hours while not in use and review the user manual. There are two volume options. Turn the unit up with the volume buttons on the unit and you can then use the volume buttons on the connected device. We look forward to your updated review.

Posted .The iBT84 provides 8 watts of audio output power. A weak bluetooth connection and distorted audio are clear signs that the iBT84 has not been fully charged.
1. Unpair/forget the iBT84 from the phone/device.
2. Restart the device.
3. Charge the iBT84 for 4 hours while not in use.
The red charging status indicator LED on top right of the unit blinks when battery needs charging, turns solid while charging and turns off once unit is fully charged.

Best Portable Speaker I've Purchased Yet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I literally just got back from buying this product, I was iffy about buying this speaker considering there was no reviews and I was unable to test this product ANYWHERE. So I decided to go out on a limb and go for it and I am so glad I did. The maximum volume this speaker holds for its size is amazing. It's pretty much too loud to even have on the loudest setting and yet it still holds a clear crisp sound with great base for, once again, the size and the price you pay. So happy with this purchase. Would strongly recommend. Note: I originally had the color changing Jam Trance Plus that goes for a higher price than this speaker brand new and it doesn't even compare to the ihome speaker. The ihome is such better quality.
