Not as Durable as I thought

I only paid $12.00 for them so I didn't lose much, but I'm kind of disappointed. My son is 7 and I had his skull headphones at 3 and after 4 years the piece that goes into the Ipad broke off. So, I thought these would last, but no they didn't. They are broken in the middle of the headpiece.

Very happy with this pair

The other pairs were from somewhere else and only lasted for about a week before one side of the earphones went out. I was pretty skeptical about buying these but gave it one final shot. We were pleasantly surprised. It's been 2mos and both earphones are working and they survived a trip to CA. I also like the bottom because it won't break if they're, let's say, accidentally dropped by a 9yr old-lol. Very happy with this purchase.
