It has been very helpful with dialogue on the TV. The trick is to mute the TV or smartphone and rely on the soundbar. The installation instructions are minimal, but workarounds are pretty easy to find.

The volume is terrible. It is either way to low or to high no balance in-between. This speaker sucks. It also crackles the bass is terrible.

So the tv I do have it attached to I dont feel gives me the sound that the item description claims.
