Bought the last one of these in stock and wanted another after using it. Being unable to find it in store, I settled for getting Brookstone's version for $30. Bad decision! This one has better range the the Brookstone one and actually has a battery! The Brookstone has no battery and must be plugged into a power source at all times.

I bought this so I could play music from my phone wirelessly through my home stereo. Sound quality is great, range was impressive - I did not experience the interference issues reported by the other reviewer - I still had a good connection at ~30 feet and through apartment walls. Mine is plugged in permanently, so I cannot speak to battery life. I liked it so much, I bought 2 more as gifts, and another for myself!

    Convenient, But Has Drawbacks

With the number of bluetooth enabled devices on the rise in our house it made sense for us to retrofit some of our older equipment in a manner that would make it possible for us to stream audio from the new devices through older stereos --wirelessly. These devices seemed like ideal solutions so we purchased two of them. Both set up with ease and worked as planned, but we do notice slight crackling in the sound quality. Also, the range on these things does NOT hit 30 feet as indicated by the accompanying literature text on any site we saw these on. We have successfully accomplished 15 feet before things started to fall apart and DEFINITELY do not let something get between this unit and the signal source or the playback will get interrupted. We do not suggest purchasing this unit if you need to go more than 10 or 12 feet away from where you place this unit. But, in hindsight, for only $21 apiece the two units we purchased will do what we need -- for now.
