The Bluetooth feature on the turntable only allows for the speakers to be used from an external device.

I contacted Best Buy and they sent out a new one, no questions asked. The replacement has worked perfectly - great sound for both her "vinyls" and when she's listening to a playlist from her phone via Bluetooth.
