So you have to buy the cds. Without the words this just becomes a really expensive speaker... no thank u

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this machine and so excited to use it when I got home and set it up it worked fine after 5 mins of playing with it the screen stopped showing the lyrics. So I returned it and for a new one when I got home and set up the new one the microphone doesn't work. The light do shine in the singers face while trying to read the lyrics and the screen is way too small to really see them in the first place. you'll have to buy a double sided audio/video cable to plug into the tv.

She likes the bright lights, lots of fun for the whole family, she loves it & can't wait to get more CD's. This will also be a great device on reading skills & speed. I felt for the price its a great start.

Microphone doesn't always work

You have to hold it a certain way and it works when it wants to. I returned the machine thinking I had a bad mic, but the 2nd machine has the same issue. Going to buy an extra mic because my daughter doesn't want to give the machine up. If it has the same issue, I'm going to return it. I don't recommend it because of the inconvenience and extra expense. Flashing lights make it hard to read the buttons.
