One of my favorite bands is back with a wonderful album. Not what you would imagine but truley a Chilli Pepper album! The album transcends like their transformation through time. Love it!

I'm With You was RHCP's first release since the double album Stadium Arcadium in 2006 and even I had doubted that they would come back for more. Yet, they did, even after the departure of Frusciante. But this album is no let down. It's go its rock and its pop and even a dash of funk. It's RHCP in a modern sense but they definitely know how to continue the legacy. "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" is groovy and great and serves as the perfect single from the album. But it's the soft songs that made me fall in love, like "Brendan's Death Song", "Did I Let You Know" and "Police Station". But they still know how to have their fun with jams like "Goodbye Hooray", "Ethiopia", and "Look Around." RHCP came back long awaited and it was definitely worth it. A great addition to their long history of genius.

This is a pretty good album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's not the same without John Frusciante, but still a decent cd.

This album by RHCP is good but doesn't live up to Stadium Arcadium in my opinion

Overall, very solid album. Stadium Arcadium remains to be my favorite, followed by a tie between Californication and this one (I'm With You). Josh does a good job filling in for his buddy John at the lead guitar. Great album, great price, support the RHCP and buy this album.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are MY Elvis, Or Beatles...And I believe that a large percentage of our generation will agree on the same level. I absolutely love them-they are a HUGE part of my life, and my adolescence, and now my adulthood. This album is a great, positive new beginning with the addition of John Klinghoffer, and you can hear each one of their different personalities come through on each song-so different, but they blend together so well. I do believe that every album they have recorded sounds progressively different and invoke a different sound for music to come in the future. There are a million artists out there we will always remember that have influenced us in some way or another, but The Red Hot Chili Peppers WILL ALWAYS top that list for me :) Way to go guys!!!

I'm not a "hardcore" rhcp fan; but I fell absolutely in love with Stadium Arcadia. And, I did purchase "Californication" when it first came out; and also loved it. Also, I had just graduated high school when "under the bridge came out," so I've been around awhile.
The "take me home" from track eight (did I let you know) rings through my gut and up to my heart just like "california rest in peace" does.
It did take me a couple of times listening to the entire album before I loved it, as it does with most new music for me.
I would recommend "I'm with You" to any rhcp fan. Classic Anthony lyrics.... awesome !!! "Good things come to those who wait... like an expiration date."

This album is true to the sound I expect from the Chili Peppers (strong bass-driven rhythms and Kiedis's unique vocals) but does have new influence from their latest addition, Josh Klinghoffer, on guitar, which keeps it fresh and not just another rendition of songs I've heard for 20 years. I'm really loving the new Latin influence in the percussion section, which gives a new depth to their sound. Definitely an enjoyable listen.
