As a Nightwish fan for a while now, I enjoyed the CD and when I heard there would be a film, I was intrigued but did not follow all the postings and such. This is something I am thankful for as watching this was a rather enjoyable time. Those reading this would probably already know who Nightwish is as well as their style of music--ignore that! The first thing I take away from this is that (for me) it had a feel of Cirque du Soleil for some reason. Given that I rather enjoy watching Cirque, this added to it all. The music was a score, just as you would expect from any movie, but the elements of the CD were felt throughout the journey. As for story, knowing the origins helped a great deal as it helps you to understand how scattershot it can feel in some ways...even though the common thread is felt all the way. Tuomos et al were great and you get a little more of a peek behind his curtain. All in all, I recommend it to any Nightwish fan...or anyone who just enjoys a quirky film with a great story to tell.

I'm a long time fan of Nightwish. When I first heard that Imaginaerum was coming out in movie format I was curious to see how they would do it. The mix on live action and cgi blends well and creates a good story. The Imaginaerum album playing softly in the background adds ambience to the film.

I had purchased the Nightwish Imaginaerum Album a while back and I wasn't sure what to expect from the Movie. Honestly I didn't even know it existed until I saw it at my local BestBuy. It's an interesting movie and might need to be watched a few times to truly get it. I thought it was interesting and I enjoyed it. Glad I got it.

A heart-wrenching story of an old musician's battle with his demon (dementia) to keep his most precious of memories while in a coma, and his bitter daughter's realization that her father truly loved her. Oh!... And music by the greatest band ever... NIGHTWISH

This new album is fantastic. The new singer is a great fit for the new music and the instrumental version of the album is just as good! Get this for your collection!

If you like rock operas, or musicals, you will not be disappointed in this movie. Nightwish is a great group.

This is a movie that should be seen my all and not just Nightwish fans!

I felt the story was rushed, the writing and acting was ok

The video was hard to follow at first then later in it made a little more sense.Some scenes were really not necessary and dragged on and on... Overall ok movie, but not worth 20 dollars.
