Very good movie. King Hyperion is a punk. I want the bow.

I bought this movie because I like 3-D movies. Three dimension adds another element of realism to the film watching experience. And the 3-D process of today is so much better than that of the 1950's or 1970's. I also bought it because my wife is a big Henry Cavill fan and likes Greek and Roman movies. The story is good, not great, but good. The 3-D picture quality is very good. Not a lot of "in your face" effects, but a great feeling of depth. Plus it was on sale at Best Buy for only $9.99

Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, and Luke Evans delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The cinematography in the movie was excellent. Really good character development. The fight scenes were great. Mickey Rourke was casted perfectly to play a psychotic enemy leader. Henry Cavill plays a great warrior and leader. The Gods in the movie gave me goose bumps. Luke Evans plays a great Zeus. This movie is worth seeing in the theatre and a definitely a blu ray purchase.

I was lead to believe that this movie couldn't stand up to 300 and it was a distant 2nd, but I thought it was a lot better than many reviews ranked it. I liked the relationship between the gods and mortals aspect of the story and thought that there was some substance there, buy of course the best parts of the film are some of the action sequences & special effects work. Also, the supplemental features on the disc are cool.

Special effects we're very good. Movie wasn't as good as anticipated.

While the character development is rather shallow at times, the movie makes for a nice Friday night mindless action movie. The plot line moves along with some action and some fun cinematography but nothing that is going to bring you back over and over again. Not going to win any awards but overall still fun to watch.

It's very rare to pick up a movie in 3D for under $20.00 so I couldn't resist picking this up for $13.00 even though I don't own a 3D television. I saw this when it was released without 3D and thought it was visually stunning and didn't really undestand what all the fuss was about with the violence...because I've seen far worse take place on this screen over the years. If you can blend visual effects with a good story then I'm willing to pay for the ride and this one presented and still presents a good ride so to speak!

The movie lacks something and for me, it's originality. These movies seem to try too hard to be like 300 and that's a shame because with all the great writers and actors out there along with these monstrous budgets there's no excuse to deliver an OK that was just enjoyable movie

Immortals is a visually stunning movie. It is colorful and stark at times with highlighted reds and golds. The actual plot is a convoluted telling of the legend of Theseus. It provides a hero that the viewer can root for and well as stunning scenery and celestial bodies.

This is, in my opinion, one of those movies that you either love or hate. There is a definite '300' feel to it (example: abundant in sweaty men in armor), although not as gory. It's based around Theseus stepping up into the leadership role Zeus chose him for, attempting to find the Epirus Bow, and the Greek god's involvement in the human's war. Of course, there's a pletora of mini plots throughout the film. Sidenote: Ares is the best. Just saying.

I was initially hesitant about purchasing this movie but was glad I did for the price. Immortals 3D had some really good 3D scenes and not a bad storyline. I was entertained throughout the movie and was really glad that I decided to buy it.

This movie has a lot of action, great special effects and a great look. If you like movies based on Roman mythology and violence is not a problem, you should enjoy this movie.. Not for under 13 or if violence bothers you.

If you're into mythology as a whole you should enjoy this movie. It's not something you're going to want to watch every week but it's entertaining nonetheless. Action was good acting was just OK.

Fun to see Henry Cavill before he was Superman. Mickey Rourke does a fine "bad guy" as always. The highlight, without a doubt, has to be the fight sequence between the gods and the titans. Some of the best 3D I've seen.

If you liked 300 you’ll like this. It is a lot of fun to watch and has an interesting style. Good way to burn a couple hours. This movie isn’t winning any oscars though.

I was able to buy this blu-ray movie during their big sale for a very low price and it even includes a digital copy of the movie. The movie is good action/fantasy and perfect for a lazy weekend afternoon.

Immortals was a great movie in my opinion. I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews , but I tend to never listen to reviews about movies. If your a fan of 300 style movie give this a shot you may like it.

My Boyfriend and I watched this movie together. We love movies like Troy, 300, Pompeii and movies similar so we took a chance with this movie and we were impressed and sucked into all the action. If you like movies like these and can handle the violence and fighting and blood and gore then I would highly recommend this movie!! Hope you enjoy it!!
