Imagine Zelda: BOTW in a Greek Mythology setting!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though Immortals: Fenyx Rising takes very clear inspirations from The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild and Assassin's Creed: Odyssey it still manages to stand on its own merits and is thoroughly enjoyable. The dialogue between Zeus and Prometheus has me laughing most of the way through, but I feel like some of the less well-known aspects of the Greek pantheon would go over people's heads and cause them to miss several of the jokes. Combat is very enjoyable and I never felt like I wanted to avoid fighting one of the many monsters dotted around the map, even if it seemed like they would one-shot me. Exploration could have easily been a generic Ubisoft slog, but they managed to make that just as fun as the combat for me. Overall, Immortals is one of my favorite games this year and is easily the best Ubisoft game I have played in a long time.

Amazing game!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you liked Zelda breath of the wild BUY THIS GAME. Graphics are clean and crisp. Gameplay is great! Special moves can be a little tricky sometimes but once you get the hang of it your golden. I beat the main story mode in 25 hours of gameplay. That includes some side quest hidden treasure chests etc. the one flaw is when you finally beat typhon. It ends the same way Zelda did. Load the game from the boss or start over with everything you have earned. I wish you could just continuing playing with no more typhon in the game. Otherwise the game is perfect!

One To Put In The Collection
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this game! Puzzles, Quest, Mystical Beast, Armor, & Different Animals To Ride! The game has a slow start then takes off with its Zelda, Assassins Creed, Kingdom Heart feel.

A Nice Change from Ubisoft
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having played through the last few Assassins Creed games, I must say that this games exploration surprisingly surprises them. Being able to find joy in discovering new things, this game definitely draw many inspirations from BOTW and it’s an absolute great thing. The story is very lighthearted and draws out the same vibe as a Saturday morning cartoon. Combat is pretty fun too and once again drawing some inspiration from BOTW.

Phenomenal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man, where to start with this game. Most reoccurring description I keep running into with this game is “underrated”. This game is a mash up of Zelda breath of the wild & assassin creeds with comedy. Tons of exploration, simplistic combat, tons of cosmetics to collect, upgradeable skill tree, to tons of “ Dungeon “ puzzles, great story, etc etc. I don’t write reviews at all, but had to with this game. Pick this up, you won’t regret it!!!

Fun Action RPG Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've played this game on my XBox Series X on and off (7 hours total) for about a couple of weeks so far. I've gotten through enough of the game to know that I like the game. It's kind of a cross between Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Zelda. There are enough RPG elements to strengthen your character as you progress. The graphics are fantastic! A couple of downsides for me. To perform special moves, I have to remember the various button presses. With other games I'm playing, it's hard to remember the combinations if I stay away for a couple of days. This is minor. The second downside is the character's stamina system. It decreases when the character climbs or glides. There are these blue things (sorry, I forget what they're called) you collect throughout your journey that you can consume when your stamina runs low, which happens quite fast while climbing a tall statue or mountain or gliding. You can consume those things before your stamina completely depletes. If not, you fall, and depending on how high up you are from a flat surface below, you will get hurt or die. I know the character can build up its maximum stamina over time, but this is not something I really want to worry about. Perhaps, I will get used to this when I put more time into the game. I would recommend this game if you like action RPG games. I think Ubisoft did a good job with this game.

The God of War Clone we didn't know we wanted...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted something to break the Series X game drought so I grabbed this...this is the perfect clone of the God of War series back on PlayStation circa 2009, but with a Zelda make over. Like GOW in every way, you traverse the land, dealing with Greek themed obstacles...with a twist, where GOW killed everything/one in site, there are two main Greek God villains to combat here, and you must free the others...the story is "narrated by Prometheus and Zeus" and lets just say there are a number of what Leonidas, of the 300 fame, would classify as "Athenian" jokes/references...with Zeus fawning over other Greek gods. Still it's enjoyable with heavy puzzles if that's your thing. It does have a few nice touches that the GOW series would have welcomed.

Well Done Third Person Action Adventure
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very well made Assassin's Creed feeling game. It is genuinely funny at times and has really fun exploration and combat. The wings you get to fly around makes the game so much more fun than I thought it would. It is safe to play in front of children and has great writing, music and art. Overall a solid 4 out of 5.

Great game!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this game after hearing a reviewer give it his "game of the year." It was on sale and there are not a lot of options for next gen games right now, so I gave it a try. The game is very easy to pick up and play, engaging and the writing is really good. It is a mix of the best parts of "Breath of the Wild" and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. If you like open world games and are even remotely interested in Greek mythology, this game will keep you engaged for hours. The art style is great and the game is absolutely gorgeous on the Xbox Series X. The puzzles are just challenging enough without being frustrating and the difficulty options offer something for everyone. This is one of those games where "just one more minute" can turn into many lost hours. Not quite my "game of the year" top pick, but a very close second to "Hades."

Great game
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game overall. It’s like a cross between Breath of the wild and God of war storyline wise. Gameplay is a similar to BOW. Very enjoyable good amount of humor. Graphics are a little cartoony but still good. I think it’s definitely worth playing at least once thru.

Worth Playing!!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a breath of fresh air to Ubisoft's large open world game lineup. Still is a large open world but there is something to this. Each area is very unique with the colors, setting and each thing you do will possibly have a narration which makes you feel constantly involved in what's going on. If you're a fan of AC odyssey then you will love some returning voices. Good ol Socrates as Zeus is a good for a laugh. the customizable option are varied and lets you mix it up and you can change at anytime. this is a fun game and leans heavily to making you laugh and just having a good time.

Great fun with a few flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is an open-world action RPG. PROs: It is pretty engaging and easy to pick-up and play. The story is interesting and enjoyable. There is not as much aimless wandering as in Breath of the Wild. It is more approachable and arcade. The enemy difficulty scales reasonably while being challenging. Cons: The initial controls are not ideal if you play other games. The controls take a while to get used to and even after several hours of playing you will find yourself accidentally using your godly powers while climbing or other activities. There are some glitches in the game. I've had to reset a few times or watched as bosses walk in circles while you slowly kill them. The voice acting is terrible and can get annoying. It tries to be funny, but most times is not. There are cut-scenes you cannot skip.

Underrated Zelda Clone!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though this game borrows ideas from other existing game, it still is worth one play through. The open world is a large colorful collection of different themes and enemies. The story and voice acting work well enough and should keep your attention. This could be a new IP for Ubisoft if they keep building on this solid foundation.
