One of the best westerns in years! I absolutely love this revenge story and homage to early spaghetti western films! Amazing performances all around especially by Ethan Hawke!

This is a very good movie, good picture and good sound.

I anticipated this to be a great movie with two great actors like John T and Ethan H but it gave less than desired. Much of the supporting cast only managed to drag the movie down with their poor acting. But, the dog was great! :) Sad what happened to him :(. I could go on but I wont because while it wasn't as good as I expected, some may find that it's worth the price of purchase.

It's a good western and high intensity movie that is worth every minute of its duration. The film is not at all shootings or bloodshed but has enough fighting scenes and does not get stuck or focus much on the dialogue. Ultimately the whole plot is basic and there is no real reason for what happens apart from the fact that someone was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

This movie I bought out of loving westerns and this movie was just good not great but good the story line was weird and seemed to be a low budget movie but at the same time end up being surprising... I did enjoy it...

I love westerns and they don't make enough GOOD ones anymore. The reviews on this one were a little mixed but I gambled anyway and was pleasantly surprised. It was quite good and entertaining. Loved the performances.

Set in the 1800s out West, Ethan Hawke, the new stranger in town, is the reluctant hero and John Travolta, the sheriff, is the reluctant villain. If it weren't for the sheriff's truly evil son, the Hawke and Travolta characters could probably get along. There's also a lonely girl falling for the stranger. So, you get the elements of a classic Western, with shoot outs and vulnerable women chasing strong men. But you also get to look at the emotions of some complex characters playing traditional roles, which makes this Western more interesting than most.

I enjoy Westerns immensely, John Ford to Sergio Leone. Serials to lavish productions. In A Valley of Vengeance is a sort of throwback to those quirky Italian westerns of the 60's and 70's that were all the rage back then. Flawed hero's and villains that were more than just a black hat. I enjoyed this throwback to the movies of my youth and it is a tremendously entertaining little movie. John Travolta is an excellent bad guy and Ethan Hawke a perfectly flawed hero.

They could have done so much with this movie. But I guess they blew their budget on getting Travolta. The acting was good. A couple of great one-liners for western. But the story was thin. I recommend it for a Saturday with nothing to do. Just my two cents.

A good movie for those Western lovers. My husband really enjoyed it because he has seen every other western out there. Something different!

This was another good movie, but no surprise. Where someone get done wrong for no reason and go back to get his revenge.

I am a hugh Western fan and am always looking for them at BB, I really liked this one, Travolta was really good.

If you loved John wick...you will like the western version of John wick. It's fully of charm and blood

Ti west shows his versatility as a filmmaker by showing he can do more than great horror.
