This series is about a 15 year old boy who dies due to God's mistake (lightning strike). He is reincarnated in a different world, where magic exists. God granted him a request to be able to use his cell phone in the new world. God updated the phone with the new world's geographic data. Calling his previous world is not possible, but he can read information from his old world. He quickly learns magic, and uses the cell phone to enhance his already formidable magic power. Critics say that this is a typical "isekai" type anime, but I think it is funny, as the main character is completely oblivious to the romantic interest of the girls that join him in his quests. I would call this show "lighthearted". There is no deep meaning (Shield Hero) or multiple story lines (Overlord) to be found here, but it is a fun anime.
