I entered the Sandy Utah Best Buy with my own car stereo in hand, new inbox. I requested it be installed in my car. Counter help told me they do not install car stereos at the Sandy store that I would need to go to the West Jordan store (several miles opposite my area). He scheduled me for the soonest West Jordan install (over 2 weeks wait) and ordered the kits I needed (face trim and electrical connector kits for my car) to go to West Jordan, as there were not any available at either store. I prepaid a large wad of cash for the actual install and for both kits ordered to arrive in West Jordan. My understanding was that my car and inbox stereo needed to simply show up at my scheduled install time. To my shock and horror while checking my email about 5 days later, my latest Best Buy email said due to the fact you didn't pick up your parts that were shipped to the West Jordan store they were sent back to the warehouse and a credit will be issued. Looking at at Best Buy email a few days earlier saying my two different kits I ordered had arrived and were available for pickup and that I only had two days to pick them up or they would be returned. I had no idea the parts would arrive in West Jordan and be sent back if I didn't pick them up. I was under the impression when I purchased them to be ordered and shipped there that they would be waiting for the install. I spent my 30 minutes lunch time tossed around like a hot potato not getting the help I needed. I spent almost an hour being on the phone. Ironing this mess out with my employer not happy with me doing my work when I should have been. The problems didn't stop there. After having to buy the parts online with my credit card and they still insisted on a refund from my cash purchase I was told that since it wasn't me that was going to make it to the appointment that I had to register my wife to be able to do this transaction in person with my car. When I went to the Sandy store to pick up my cash refund I was told they actually do car stereo installs at the Sandy store and they didn't give me my cash back they gave me the parts I needed that were already at that store instead. They did help me there however cancel my credit card order for the parts that were to be shipped to West Jordan's store again. I at least felt confident now with my stereo and install parts kits in my hand and my wife registered to be able to take my car in when the appointment finally did come that it would be installed correctly. Installation was very disappointing. When the key is turned on or the car is started about 8 or 10 seconds later there was a loud boom noise that shocks the speakers that never did that before not only that, I can no longer change volume or stations on my steering wheel like I could with the factory stereo I have to reach over to turn it on change stations or just volume now. Very very disappointed!

The installation and customer service was excellent. The stereo isn't quite as good as I thought it would be

Brought my truck in for a free install of my Kenwood Stereo. He did a fantastic job and had to trim my dashboard cover some and it looks factory! Less then an hour and I was on the road with Apple Car play in on older Ranger! Love it

Ashlee installed my JVC KW850 in-dash dvd system and backup camera perfectly! She communicated well and advised me to purchase the right/necessary parts to work best with this unit and specific to my Lexus SC430. I’m so happy with the new system!

Was looking for a new radio system and Guz from the geek squad team helped me pick one out perfectly. He even set me up with an appointment on the spot. He was transparent and installed the new system for me. The new radios is amazing and I give Guz 5 stars as his customer service skills and installation skills were on point. Thank you Guz, amazing job!

I have always been one to read and write reviews ....I believe in customer feedback 100%...dillan at the tampa dale mabry geek squad was very quick and professional when he did the install on my 06 jetta he even installed wired mic and aux cord at no additional cost ....I would highly recommend dillan to do another one of my installs! Good job Geek Squad!

I had a good install experience. The tech was very knowledgable and explained everything thoroughly. Good and bad. Took a little longer than expected but I was next door having lunch so it didn't matter. I rather it take longer and get done right. I plan to go back to get a back up camera installed in the future

I recently had a disappointing experience with Best Buy’s stereo installation service. I purchased a refurbished, “excellent” condition stereo, but when I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that several features would be disabled unless I paid extra. After waiting almost two hours, I was told the stereo had deep scratches on the screen and that installation couldn’t continue. Ultimately, I ended up wasting my time and feeling misled about the product’s condition and additional costs. This experience has definitely made me hesitant to return for future services.

Jose did an awesome job installing my radio!!! He is very knowledgeable, and professional!! I highly recommend Jose and the geek squad to all my family, and friends!!!

Upgrading to a double din touch screen was a great move, and the Geek Squad techs did a wonderful job on the installation.

First time best buy radio install. Install went great and radio looks awesome. Had to go to Kalamazoo, MI because my local BBC was booked for 3 weeks because of the holidays and free install black Friday special. The person was very nice and explained things very well.

At high speeds the screen starts to shake like crazy, theirs a lag when i connect my phone to the usb port, thats connect right away, i have to unplug an replug for phone to connect. Buttons on the bottom kinda annoying to small wish they were at the driver side. I should’ve been asked if I wanted install a back up camera, the touch screen radio comes with the option.

The guy was very nice and did a great job. Highly recommend...
