In God's Eyes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Zalman King has always had an eye for Beauty (although it is generally of the female type). The cinematography in this film is so amazing. The underwater training scenes are so crystal clear you feel like you are right next to the swimmers. The surfing footage was by far some of the best there was at the time. This would make a great HD movie. Anyways, the story is simple, it is shot like a documentary style film but with acting. It follows the exploits of three big wave surfers as they travel the globe year round training for their sport. It is not all about the surfing and it is a fictional story written by Matt George. All the actors are professional surfers and most had never acted before. This being the case, some of the acting is stiff, but the director tried to work these characteristics into the characters. Overall, I would highly recomend this movie to anyone who enjoys to sit back and relax while watching some good surf scenes. Enjoy
