All I have to say is this is a great revenge film.

This was not a good movie. They could have made this a better movie with a little more action. The movie was based on true events, so they were stuck with what they had.

I first noticed Diane Kruger in Troy with a minor role. She has had many roles since then and I always enjoy her acting and admire her multi-lingual abilities in life and in film. In The Fade is a different kind of role for her and she carries it out brilliantly. The emotion, rage and resolve provide the movie with such depth that it demands empathy from the audience. The script is concise with just enough character development. The rest of the cast is also wonderful to watch. The English dub is not good. One must watch the movie in vernacular German with subtitle otherwise much nuances will be missed in the dialogue. Highly recommended.
