one of the greatest films ever made about racism and one of the greatest films ever made

Totally love this movie! I think this movie is one of Sidney Poitier's best, as he is great alongside Rod Steiger. Together, they are a great team to make this a great movie. The 4K version really was better than my DVD version that I saw using my OPPO 4K player. PRO: What I love about this set is that not only do you get a great movie "In The Heat of the Night" in 4K, but you also get the sequels: "They Call Me Mr Tibbs!" and "The Organization". The sequels are in blu-ray but they are still very nice. CON: I wish they would have had a digital copy, but that was not a big deal. I highly recommend this movie to all of the Poitier fans!!!

In The Heat of The Night is a movie that broke many barriers. The 4K picture is gorgeous and the audio, though not dolby atmos, doesn’t disappoint. The bonus materials are excellent and the first sequel, They Call Me Mr. Tibbs is included!!! Mr. Poitier is legendary. Roy Steiger is fantastic. Thank you both.

Amazing quality, sound is great, I just wish Kino Lorber would’ve included a scene selection screen. Otherwise, a beautiful 4k transfer of this classic film.

Hadn’t seen this movie in a while. It was so clear it was like a time machine. On my oled the picture was like watching from across the room live.

What a deal! 3 movies with the great Poitier. The 4 k is an excellent transfer and the others are on blu ray and look very good.

A classic film with an excellent tranfer make this a worthwhile upgrade.
