Having been a Stevie fan for almost 40 years, I was looking forward to this DVD. The promise of a glimpse into her writing process sounded very compelling and I purchased it the day of release. Collaborating with Dave Stewart seemed like an inspired choice as well. As it turns out, everyone involved seemed more interested in portraying characters living in a whimsical fantasyland and the whole affair is presented like a reality TV show. As a result, they come across like actors that are trying to entertain viewers, rather than focusing on the business at hand - creating a great album. Yep, I still use that archaic term! Learning about the varied sources from which she drew musical inspiration and the whole experience was wonderful and the great locations were beautifully captured. However, I prefer her mystical and vague lyrics of songs past, rather than the literal and "on-the-nose" writing on offer here. Dave Stewart's sonic contribution as producer & co-writer was wonderful and his playing was top notch - I do hope they work together again. One can only imagine that without the added pressure of filming the whole creative endeavor, she will able to craft an even more engaging musical statement... Looking forward to her next one!

I liked the intro ,the old film repoduction done of stevie and dave stewart. Dave Stewart is a great arranger and Stevie with her haunting voice really sends it home. I love the behind the scenes of the production of the DVD. It catches some touching moments between all the musicians. They way they tell you how they come to make the sounds and songs that she comes up with. Just Great.

A look into the life of a Stevie Nicks recording session at her home and studio. Stevie is seen rehearsing songs for upcoming albums and shows. A few songs are also on the disc. A great look at Stevie and her friends playing together. A must have if you are a Stevie fan.

If you are a Stevie Nicks fan it is a must have. Wonderful interviews and backround of the making of the album. Spectacular

This is another great production from Stevie Nicks. I highly recommend it!

The only thing wrong with this DVD is that it left me wanting more.

This is advertised as a 2 disc set, but be warned, it's a cruel typo. The DVD is only one disc. That being said, if you like Stevie Nicks, you'll love this DVD.

Purchased from BestBuy because they said it was a 2 disk version, Amazon was cheaper.but it only had a 1 disk version. BestBuy would not match Amazon's price and they said I could not return it for a couple of hours, so their system could process it.
