I picked up this case because it was on sale. It fits my laptop great, but is horribly designed. The case does not allow for easy extension/tilting of the screen so I've been having to apply considerable force to the screen to angle it backward; nothing crazy, of course. After a few weeks, my laptop screen cracked in the same spot where I usually push it back. I've taken such good care of my laptop and I wasn't not ready to let it go, however, because of this case's poor design, I have to buy a new laptop!!! You've been warned.

This is the second Incase I have purchased for my MacBook Pro. The first one last just over 1 year (just out of the warranty period). Nice case but the corners of the case (All 4 corners cracked!)! Maybe I got unlucky but seeing on line that other people have had the same problem. Plastic seems to brittle. Recommend going with something more flexible or soft cover.

I love this case! It is beautiful and seems very protective. Doesn't scratch and have no issues with it thus far.

I was looking for a simple hard shell case to replace an older, similar style one for my MacBook Pro. I wanted something that would provide some protection and look reasonably good, but I did not want to spend a lot of money on one of the leather or other fancier style cases on the market. My MacBook has a retina display, but as a mid 2014 model lacks a Touch Bar. So, I also needed to find a case that would fit my old workhorse machine. The Incase Designs Hardshell was just the ticket! It snapped right on and fit my 15 inch laptop perfectly. My MacBook got a bright new look with the rose quartz color. The shell is somewhat translucent, so the white apple shines through when the laptop is powered up. I love the look. If you want an Incase Designs hardshell case for an older Retina style Mac, just look for one that says Retina. The ones that fit a touch bar model say they are for retina with touch bar. If you do not have a touch bar, just avoid the cases that mention touch bar.

I purchased this for my 2015 MacBook but it’s meant for the newer models with touch bar so it doesn’t fit mine as well as it should. Great product though and would fit perfectly on the newer laptops since they are a thinner design than the one I bought. Color is great, a perfect rosey pink. Not too peach like the picture looks

For the price this is an excellent buy. Fits well and looks nice too. When I first attached the bottom part of the case, the screen would only open to 90 degrees. I realized I needed to clip the back of the case over lip of the Mac bottom plate. Once i did that I was able to open the lid/screen normally. The only downside to this case is it's kind of slick and more difficult to grip than other cases.

This is a nice cover for your Mac easy to install does what it supposed to do protecting the Mac case from scratches and some minor liquid splashes would love to give this a higher rating if it weren’t for the fact that the corners that help hold the cover in place snap or break off easily this is my second cover pricing should be half of what it’s being sold for.

The cover fits perfectly over my MacBook and protects my laptop! It fits snuggly and doesn’t have any gaps. Best laptop hard case I’ve ever had!

i travel frequently and was looking for a case/cover to protect my Mac while it goes through security, traveling, etc.... so far am very happy with this purchase.. it is practical, does an excellent job of protecting my computer. it is light. and it is easy to take on and off..

Nice looking, rugged, and fits perfectly. Why look elsewhere?

This is my second incase shield case for the macbook pro from Best Buy. The first one suffered a crack when i accidently hit it against a nyc subway train door. So I bought this second one but they seem to leave open areas on the macbook sides and back even when fitted properly. The clear design with the dot pattern however looks great.

I picked this up on sale for 25 dollars. Very nice fit and finish. However, the corners have a miniature cracks in them. Not really a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of.

While this came in pretty colors, I went with the clear version. It does have really small dots on it making it look very modern, I can place pictures of my family under it. The result isn't perfect, but everyone is there and I love that! I take this with me wherever I go and feel safe with my new Mac in a hardshell case. The pictures are a bonus that makes me smile.
