I really like the design of this shell. I just bought the 2025 Macbook Air and I was excited to put this case on it. Unfortunately, when I tried to close the laptop, the case was preventing it from closing all the way.

I bought this Incase shell for my MacBook, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit correctly. After installing it, the laptop wouldn’t close completely — there was a noticeable gap when shut. On a brand-new MacBook, that’s not something I’m willing to compromise on. The material felt decent, but the fit just wasn’t precise enough. I was concerned about long-term hinge stress or pressure on the screen, so I ended up returning it. I replaced it with a Speck shell case, and that one fits perfectly — closes flush and feels much more secure. Disappointed with this one.

This hardshell case fits my MacBook Air perfectly. It's clear, so it doesn't hide the design of the laptop, and it provides a good layer of protection against scratches and minor bumps. Easy to snap on and stays secure.

I’m glad I bought the Incase-Edge Hard Shell Case for my new MaBook 13” Air. Protects the MacAir from small scratches. Because it’s clear, it looks like there is no cover. Perfect fit. Looks great.

This case is quite good. It fits well and has a nice texture, allowing you to handle the computer securely. The clear case is also translucent enough to see the computer’s color easily. Other reviewers have reported issues with this line of Incase products cracking, either with or without dropping their computers. Every retailer needs a cache of high-margin items to remain profitable. I understand and support that, and I assume this is one of those items for Best Buy. For me, protecting the finish of a $1,300 laptop is definitely worth some investment. If they offered a lifetime replacement guarantee, as Zagg does with screen protectors, I might consider it worth $75 or more. But realistically, this is $50 for two pieces of somewhat brittle plastic. Purchase it at a discount or use Best Buy points to lower the price if you have them, and you’ll get a pretty good product for the money.

I have no complaints! Does its job and is incredibly easy to put on and take off. I love it! I’m even able to decorate my laptop with stickers without directly putting them on the laptop, just the cover on it!
