What I like most about the mod system from Motorola is how seamlessly they connect and integrate, without any additional configuration. The battery mod is probably the most straightforward of the current mod line up, but where it impresses is how little you need to worry about how the phone is held or put in your pocket to make sure it continues to charge, or what you can't do with your phone because it's tethered to a battery. It's just as straight forward to make calls, use apps, take photos and use moto actions as it is when the mod isn't connected. On the flip side, I have the Moto Z Play and it's internal battery life is really impressive. The mod only really adds about 20% extra to the internal battery, and if I didn't receive it for free with the Z Play I'm not sure that I would pay retail for it. However I can see this being a crucial mod for the slimmer Moto Z. It's also with mentioning that this mod is the only way to wirelessly charge your Moto Z, if that's something that you are used to. The mod I received didn't come with a wireless charging pad so I can't speak to the charging speed or temperature of this method. While I think wireless charging is cool conceptually, I've been pleased with the turbo power 15 charger that comes with the phone for charging the phone alone and the phone and mod together.

This is really nice to have with you when you are not able to charge your phone for long periods of time. It will get you through a football game and concert all the same day. Lots of power and charges really quickly. Snaps off and on very easily.

This is an amazing phone it has drop proof screen which I've had from another Motorola phone and absolutely work the fingerprint unlock feature is awesome the camera pixels is great there is nothing that I could say about this phone that has any downside to it the charger is super fast faster than any other turbocharger I've had

The battery pack is easy to use and provides a decent amount of charge to help extend battey life. It just plan works and charges relatively quickly. It does make the phone bulky and very heavy when installed. Would only recommend using it to give an extra charge for the your phobe and not for daily use as it feels like I'm carrying an old Nokia phone with the extended battery (those old enough know what I'm talking about). It doesn't provide a full charge for my phone (Moto Z Play) but it helps extends me to close to 3 full days without having to plug it in to a wall charger. Would recommend if you got a good deal. A pretty expensive battery pack compared to aftermarket options with much less power but it charges very quickly. I got mine as a promotional offer when preordering my phone. Otherwise I wouldn't pay full retail for one of these though.

Thin size, good battery life, wireless charging, AND sticks to magnetic vehicle mounts, oh my! (I wasn't aware that it would stick to the mag mounts; that was a highly welcome additional benefit).

Had this a couple of days before returning it for the style shell with wireless charging. I bought it on sale for $55. It adds about a day or a little less in efficiency mode, which keeps your moto z at 80%. I drained the battery pack down to about 64% charging my phone roughly 26%. Its potential is fully utilized in efficiency mode. Recharging it takes less than 2 hours via wireless charger. Unfortunately everything moto, phones and mods, don't quick charge with anything other than moto's turbopower chargers (not that there's a wireless turbopower charger). I wouldn't recommend buying this at full price when a moto turbopower pack is available for the same price with 1200+ mAh more and turbopower charging capable (both with the wall charger to the pack, and from the pack to the phone). It is slightly slimmer, lighter, and better textured (slightly grippier) than the moto turbopower pack, though. Again, don't buy this at full price.

It does add some size and weight to the Moto Z phones, but it's worth it to add extra battery. It's nice that you can also wirelessly charge on this particular model.

I got this mod for a trip to Spain so that I would always have a phone with a charge. I have the Moto Z, and it already has an excellent battery life, so I didn't keep the Incipio mod on the phone at all times, but attached it when my phone was running low. For that it works great. It would get me from below 20% to nearly full. It is relatively slim and light weight. I prefer this over other methods because so easy to use while using the phone. I don't use it on a constant basis because my use doesn't require it, but I'm very happy with the product.

You can use this battery pack in a couple different ways. It can drain itself into the phone's battery completely (charging the phone from 0 to around 50-60%), or set to charge your internal battery every time the internal battery drops below 80%. Adds quite a bit of bulk to the razor-thin phone. Slightly grippy.

I wanted to find a Moto Mod for my Droid Force to have wireless charging capability, and noticed this on sale at Best Buy online. It works great with my wireless charging station, wish I would have bought sooner.

So this allows an EXTREMELY long period of not charging the phone (I think well over a day, with usage). It also allows for wireless charging if you have that. This can be charged (wirelessly) separately from the phone, and if connected to the phone, will charge the phone while it's charging itself. With this attached, the phone becomes about the weight and size of a more traditional phone (give or take a samsung 5). It attaches magnetically, so no clips/straps/etc, just pop it on!

This snap-on did the following: Charged my battery when it was low, added wireless inductive charging AND conditioned my phone battery. Paired with a Verizon Motorola Moto Z2 Force phone. I set it to charge the phone battery when it hit 80% (Efficiency Mode). In doing so, it has not just extended my battery life to be way longer than a full day with lots of screen-on time, it also conditioned the phone battery to have generically longer life. Plus the price was super-right.

First off, this is the only juice park that has wireless conductive charging. 2. The juice pack is listed improperly on Motorola and incipio website, as if there are 2 seperate models. There IS ONLY ONE MODEL. 3. The Verizon website does not have it and for whatever ridiculous reason I don't know why. 4. Will get hot easily but manageable. 5 THERE IS NO CASE THAT WILL WORK WITH THIS MOD TO COVER THE MOD OR THE PHONE OR BOTH. THERE IS JUST A B UMBER FOR THE PHONES EDGES ITSELF BUT THATS IT

This battery mod integrates perfectly with the phone and doubles the battery life. But, it adds thickness and significant weight, and I cannot find a case that works WITH the battery. It's not really practical, if you want to have a case on your phone, to some days use the battery mod, others not. So for me, the phone doesn't have it for day-to-day use, but for a trip, I put the mod on and don't have a case. My guess is that if more people buy these, cases will become available.

I needed a new phone for a while. But at the end of the day mine did what I needed it to; social media, photos, and music. So it was hard to get excited about any of the phones out there. I am not a tech guy so it takes a bit to get me interested. Then the Moto Z came out. Different, big fan of different. But I am an AT&T user. So I couldn't get it. Then the unlocked came out. I bought it day one with ALL the mods. I use the extra battery every day. It is nice to go to work then come home and place the battery on a wireless charger and still have a fully charged phone in my hands. The speaker is awesome. I use it on my motorcycle. The projector is useful and fun. Sometimes I just lay in bed a project a show on the ceiling. The camera I have not used yet but I am excited about it. All that being said, my 15 year old asked for a new phone for Christmas. So I bought her the Moto Z play. You will not find a better $400 phone. All in all big fan. Functional, fun, well built, looks great. I will never buy a phone from a service provider again. Get the geek squad protection and enjoy owning your phone.

wireless charging has some issues...when it is connected with my moto z2 play, it detects but no charges... every 10 or more seconds it would show detecting charge but stays at that way. certain brand names work with this like Belkin with 15 W output. charges fine with out phone full battery. default will eat the battery to keep the 100% on phone gets the job done but runs dead by the end of the day. efficiency could last 2 days until night before charge maybe 3 if you do not touch it at all. like leaving it at work locker or car. other than that glad i bought it to see how wireless charging with 2220 mAh of power bank can do thank you best buy! sell us more cool stuff!!!!

Love this mod. Not only does it give me an instant battery good for a good 5-6 hours of hardcore usage but it also gives a little more grip to your phone. Moto/Lenovo is not getting enough credit. This is my favorite phone so far and I have had iPhone, Samsung, HTC. This smart phone is just smarter. From notification glance to double chop flashlight. I could go on and on. I think they put there money into making a kickass phone. Instead of marketing.. hint hint Samsung

I wanted an additional power supply and ended up with the ability to charge the additional power supply via wifi. played over 8 hrs of games and phone charge stayed at 80% charge.

I was just whenever I like to carry my phone around with a nice bumper case that allows me to used along with swapping makes it awesome especially while it's charging

This is great when traveling or if planning on not being able to charge your phone for an extended period of time. The only downside to it is that due to the great battery life the phone has it is not necessary for everyday use.
