OCD about this Case. I obsessed over many cases options before settling on this one -- looked at 15 or so before buying this one. I was concerned that the Note 8 has a very thin bezel plus curved screen that could break rather easily versus some other phones. Drop Protection -- Don't be a Coward and Tell Me How Many Feet! Many cases say they are military grade or meet some standard and often don't commit to their drop protection by claiming how many feet they can be dropped from. On the box of this case it says 12 feet of drop protection, the most I saw for any case. I imagine there are cases now that have more drop protection but at a cost of a lot more bulk. Thinness. What is also nice is for having this much drop protection it's also one of the thinnest cases out there. It's a one piece design unlike the Otterbox Commuter or Defender that are two pieces...or three if you include the holster for the Defender. We have another of these phones and chose Defender, bigger, maybe a bit more protection but who knows for sure because they say nothing about the number of feet it can be dropped. I'm not into wearing phone on my belt, so I prefer this case. Front of the Case. The top and bottom edges protrude out more than many of the other cases, so if phone falls flat on the screen it will be protected, however, the sides do not stick out as this would prevent use of the curved edge of the screen. The case doesn't interfere with the use of the screen at all. Sides of the Case. They have grooves for better grip and the buttons work very well. The sides are very "grippy" and slightly flex in your hand -- I've never dropped my phone while holding it from the sides. Back of Case. It's see thru and a dark tinted hard (and not flexible) plastic, nice if you want to show off color and style of phone instead of completely covering it with the case. The back is a very smooth plastic so if you set your phone down on the back, it will slide around in the car. Also since it's smooth it's a fingerprint magnet but darker color somewhat conceals fingerprints -- see picture with uncleaned back. The camera lens/flash is recessed into the case so they are protected. Corners of the Case. It has great "bumpers" that seem to be made from a different density of rubber, not unlike the two piece design cases. Most importantly the holes for the ports, stylus, etc. are cut in such a way that no corners are weakened -- see picture. Some cases I looked at had port holes overly large making one corner of the case so weak I could flex corner easily with two fingers -- I don't want to worry about "not dropping phone on the stylus corner"! One of the only cases with all 4 corners feeling strong. They were clever with the stylus hole, it is countersunk making case as strong as possible i.e. thicker near stylus port's base where it matters while tapering out to larger hole to pop out the stylus. Conclusion. They just did a bunch of little things right. The result is best one piece case. If you like to carry your phone in your pocket and use a screen protector, it's a strong choice. If you want case to cover the screen, go with a holster or folio style case. The closure on most of the folio style cases just plain bugged me, none used a magnet. A little warning, there are some serious issues with screen protectors working well on Note 8 curved screens. Screen protectors tend to leave a bubble. Seeing this with BodyGuardz Pure Arc...despite people telling me it's best curved glass product. Their warranty covers replacement so hopefully they perfect the design later.

My daughter and I purchased a Samsung Note 8 from AT&T, however, the selection of their phone cases for the item is very limited and pricy. Off to Bestbuy we went and found this particular case on sale. The back is smoked (can withstand smudges) which still shows the beauty of the phone. The sides and corners provide a sure grip with drop protection. It's a good and sensible purchase, better than other outrageously priced cases.

It a slim profile case, top and bottom edge of the case protects the screen from laying flat on surfaces. Works very well with my edge to edge tempered glass screen protector. The reinforced edges have protected mine from a 5ft drop, without any scuff or damages to the screen or the edge. It feels amazing in the hand, especially with the textured grip along side the edges, which prevents the phone from slipping when using it one handed. Buttons are very tactile and easy to differentiate between the Bixby and volume buttons. Very satisfied with it.

Works great with Note 8! Slim. Feels slick all around, but Ridged edges help for non-slip feel. Corners bumpers great. Buttons work fine. Incipio is good stuff. The original case may be better though if you want rubber all around.

This is the first case iv bought for my note 8 and I like it a lot. Does not add any bulk to an already huge phone. Nice grippy edges . The clear tinted back is a nice feature.

So far this Incipio case for my Note 8 has worked great. Phone dropped from about 3 ft and no damage.

Not the most expensive and provides great grip to the phone, highly recommend it.

Slim case with extra cushion on the corners. Easily removed when needed and easy to put back on. It's kind of a smokey clear black. I can't see the color of my phone but I can see the Samsung writing on the back of the phone.

This phone case for my note 8 is great. Worth the money. It's slim but has some nice decent protection

This case is made for the sure handed. Has a good grip, and corner cushioning, but not for direct, edge hits on the screen.

Has saved my phone on multiple occasions from some high drops

I've been using otter box for all my phones the last few years and am very happy because I tend to drop my phone a lot, it really protects like it's supposed to.

This case is low profile but the corners are kinda knobby. The corners prevent the phone from fitting into to pouches and holders. Otherwise, I love the case.

I have only had this for a week and I like it...if you want a great new product, check out what all of the sales people have and/or are using!

This is a good quality case. Looks and feels nice in hand.

I normally don't use screen protectors and just use my case but I'm glad I did.
