This camera is incredible! It does it all and the image quality is second to none. I love that you can use the arrows to move the camera around and zoom right in on your little one. No need for internet connection which gave us so much piece of mind. Two improvements would make this product even better… longer battery life on the monitor (it runs out fast!) and the ability to charge and unplug the camera itself. It needs to be plugged in at all times. Otherwise… you won’t be disappointed.

We just set up our DXR-8 Pro and we are in love with it. The first thing we noticed is the picture quality is outstanding. This is way better than the previous baby monitor we had. In addition, the active noise reduction works relatively well with the sound machine that we have. This means we only hear when the baby makes noises. Our last baby monitor was also 2.4ghz non-wifi, but it crippled our wireless internet. This monitor does not have severe interference like our last monitor. We are excited to continue to use the baby monitor and discover more about it.

I wanted to stay away from infant cameras that has to do with the internet due to privacy concerns. This product has been ONE OF THE BEST purchases! Hands Down! Quality, Ease of use, If you are looking to keep your infant or child safe with something reliable - I recommend this

Great camera, the picture is very good well as the night vision. The sound is great with a push to talk feature. I like that the camera display turns itself off after a period of time, but the sound continues. The battery life is decent, I am sure there is a way to configure the settings. I did have to buy the wide view lens, it was not expensive, but it provided a better angle for the crib. I also bought the adjustable mount too, that way we could mount it on the crib

The best baby monitor, hands down! Love that it doesn’t use Wi-Fi or phone connection to work, so that way it’s a safer product & prevents against any hacking. The picture is clear, sound transmission is great, and it alternates between two cameras so I can keep an eye on both kids. So glad we switched to this monitor!

Splashed out for this one because it as overall best reviewed CCTV baby monitor. Can't comment on battery life as we set it up so it's always plugged in. Picture is very clear and monitor is easy to navigate. Can rotate the camera remotely to follow baby around the room. So far so good but it's only been a week.

Easy setup- good quality- Easy to reposition. Good range while moving in the house.

Bought this so the wife and I could be more productive during nap times. The video quality is really impressive even in dark rooms. The microphone picks up even the smallest cry, but never seems to get any of the background noise which is helpful; no false alarms. Monitor battery seems to last for 5-6 hours and recharges quickly.

I researched plenty of infant monitors since our VTech had died. This was a top rated monitor and upon receiving it, I am very pleased with my purchase. The monitor is very clear at night and the screen is the perfect size to keep along with me while I do my chores. It’s very easy to use and I love the pan & tilt since I move the baby back and forth between the crib and her pack n play.

The camera on this is very good. I have it attached to the wall looking down on the crib. The camera can move in all directions with the handheld device and can cover every inch of the room. The noise cancelling on the camera works great too so you can hear your baby when wakes up or screams. The only thing i say that i dislike about this is the battery. The batter is awful and does not hold a charge very long. I am constantly having to charge it or leave it on the charger.

This baby camera has great picture quality and it doesn't connect to the internet which I was looking for. I had researched a lot before I purchased this product. After a few months of using this, I found literally no problems related to usage and quality. I can zoom and pan the camera around the room. I'm sure that I'll use it until I need to give my baby privacy.

I never do reviews for products but this baby monitor is incredible! My son has multiple congenital heart defects and had never slept in his nursery before because I was worried about him being by himself. The picture is fantastic and I can see every movement in the dark, even his breathing! This is hands down the best monitor.

We bought the original Infant Optics DXR-8 because we wanted a non-WiFi baby monitor. The upgrade from the original to the DXR-8 Pro is night and day. 1) The 720p resolution is AMAZING. I can finally see my baby at night (the old version was always blurry and hard to see). You can see their eyes and everything that they are doing very clearly. 2) The wider screen is a big upgrade 3) Much easier to adjust the volume, etc. 4) The monitor beeps when it needs to be recharged. I'm sure that there are other pluses to this version that I'll discover over time.

I had a much cheaper baby monitor for my first child, and this one is almost comically better. Noise canceling, dramatically better battery life, crisp, colorful screen. It’s intuitive to use and fast to set up.

Large handset is very nice and easy to view. I really like how quiet the camera moves, it is completely silent! It is also just a very easy and straightforward baby monitor system. I haven't got a chance to try out the active noise reducer but if it works like the rest of the camera it should be great as well!

This is my second DXR8-Pro and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The picture is very clear, and I love that I can go between both of my cameras with the one monitor. The best part about this product is that it doesn’t use Wi-Fi. Very happy with the product and would recommend.

1 star off because the connection goes in an out when I’m downstairs. Got this for my wife and she is obsessed. The camera’s quality is very clear. Color during the day and black/white at night time. You can block out other sounds by initializing this setting called ANR. You can zoom, turn, and switch out the camera lens.

Just got the DRX-8 Pro to replace a traditional monitor that did not quite give us the piece of mind we’d like. Out of the box the camera and monitor is very intuitive and easy to use without even needing the quick start guide. Image is very clear, even in low light conditions. The camera’s movement is extremely quiet, making it great for moving when our baby is sleeping. Only draw back is that the camera unit does have to be plugged into a power source at all times. I may have missed that in the description, but had hoped it was rechargeable like the receiver. Overall I still recommend this and think 5/5 stars is appropriate.
