Too much high-end, weak low-end sound compared to the JBL's they replaced but decent overall performance given the price.

have a 2005 GMC extended cab truck which had the Bose system, so I had the room; couldn't find what I wanted for the back seat speakers. I had the infinity 4x6 I bought in 2009 which are a great speaker as well, but my son blew them up. I'm not into the competition seen. I just like to listen to clean clear loud music. I run two amps Pioneer PRS-D4200F which power these speakers as well as four more tweeters an two Pioneer TS-M650PRO midrange speakers. The second amp is PRS-D2200T for my TS-SW1201 S2/S4 Subwoofers. Since I didn't find any 4X6 speakers to my liking, I went with these bad boys after doing research online for a week. I adapted my speaker opening to accommodate the size. The mids are great, the tweeter is so clear you won't believe your ears. But as the saying goes; what you put in is what you get out. If your head unit and amp put out clean and clear signal that's what you will get from these speakers, I definitely recommend these Infinity - Primus 6 1/2 2 way Model PR6500cs at this price you can't go wrong. Since I run two 12 inch subwoofers I didn't worry about the bass aspect. But imagine its great as well. No matter what style of music you listen to these will deliver. The workmanship on these is great. Hope this helps.

The looks are so deceiving. You would think that being "infinity" brand that the seps that I purchased would perform better than other brands. My friend another brand with similar specs and mounted them exactly as I did mine, similar cars and set up. His definitely sounds more crisp and has full bass. Disappointing!

best buy installed front and rears.( complete system) even the fasten seat belt dinger sounds good. it was a much needed upgrade for the 2011 impala. bought on sale.

Great components. I've owned other infinity speakers and have never been disappointed. Speakers are worth what you pay for them. Would buy them again.
