This is my second favorite Tarantino movie, and this Steelbook is a worthy collector's item. You're mainly paying for the 4k update, and a streamer copy of the movie. But honestly, this one begs for best possible picture too. While it's still the same 5.1 track, the job gets done all the same. I'm glad I was able to pick this up from a nearby Best Buy. Still not a fan of lack of availability of movies in stores.

Perhaps my favorite movie so far from QT, the 4K edition included digital and blu ray which i really liked. While you can stream it somewhere, nothings beats the high quality or security of owning it yourself.

Not sure what it is about the movie, I am partial to WW2 films but it's one of my favorite movies. The way the film is shot, the acting from many different characters, and even the comedic relief always keep me thoroughly engaged and entertained. It is a quentin tarantino movie so it is a little different than traditional films but I'm a fan. If you like war films or SS officers being off'ed than watch this.

This movie is as enjoyable as I remember, and the sound and picture quality are top-notch. I also appreciate the special features, which include interviews, deleted scenes, and even a feature-length version of Nation's Pride (a movie within the movie). I have only watched one of those special features, but will get to the others very soon.

I don't know why I didn't already own this movie. I remember buying it on DVD, but I have no idea where that copy went. Either way, this is an excellent movie in many ways. Not a family night thing or date movie. If you enjoyed Pulp Fiction or Django, you need to see this. It is a bit on the long side, but many great movies are. Prep some snacks, get comfortable, and prepare to have your dark side tickled with guilty pleasure.

You can't go wrong with a Tarantino movie. This 4k version is a definite upgrade from the regular bluray. The acting is top notch and Tarantino is running on full cylinders with his unique story. I highly recommend this movie and am glad to add this to my collection.

If like both Tarantino and steelbooks then get it. It's a nice steel book that goes nicely with my other Tarrentino steelbooks. Now I just need them to release the rest of his catalog in 4K steelbooks.

This is definitely not a movie for the faint of heart.....it's hard to watch at times, very intense scenes. It's a re-imagined/alternate timeline for what could have happened in WW2, so obviously it's fictional. The special effects are awesome, the dialogue is well-written...overall a unique, awesome movie! PS----if you like Bradd Pitt in a war movie, you should also check out "Fury"

Once again Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz did not disappoint. This movie is a combination of different genres into one - comedy, erotic thriller, fiction, documentary. One of the best movies of the 2000s.

Tarantino's ear for good dialogue will always surpass any other screenwriter's in my mind. My only complaint is about the few similarities in this film to some of his earlier works. When there are similarities between films one can usually describe them as homage's to the great works of the past. However, when the similarities lie between the works of the same artist, it just seems like sloppiness to me. Thankfully there are not many of these moments in the film, and no amount of sloppiness could keep me from enjoying Brad Pitt's performance. I still laugh uncontrollably when he tries to speak Italian.

Tarantino is a master filmaker and tbis perhaps his best. 4k quality is amazing. Steelbook looks terrific. And best buy actually manage to ship this one damage free!!!! Must buy for Tarantino fans. Hopefully we'll finally get his 90s works in 4k soon

1 of the best (IMO) Brad Pit movies- I have been waiting for a 4K version and it is here, and it is a spectacular image and DTS HD sound. Streaming is great, however nothing beats the additional details extracted from an actual 4K disc. Must have movie

Great WW II movie with a great ensemble of characters led by Brad Pitt. Movie gives you an idea of what you never read in the headlines and the pursuit by American to remove Hitler from power and thus ending WW II. Plus the steelbook design is awesome.

Tarantino directs another home run tackling the War genre. His dialogue sucks you in feeling tense with the opening scene and one that takes place in a bar. Lt. Aldo Raine and Hans Landa easily top ten Tarantino characters.

Really love what they with this film. The way Tarantino directed the film all the way from beginning to end! I was hooked all the way! If you love this film there’s no going wrong with this steelbook to add to your collection.

A gritty, grindhouse style World War 2 film, this is a film that grabs you from start to finish. Stand out performances from Brad Pitt, a then unknown Michael Fassbender, and of course, Christoph Waltz, who won an Oscar for his performance. The opening moments and the underground bar scene stand as some of the best scenes in film history, with fantastic acting and Tarantino's sharp script.

This is a good Tarantino film with a nice 4K transfer (video and audio). The steelbook edition is more expensive but worth it if you are a collector. Overall, I am happy with this set.

Great 4K presentation of Tarantino's war film. Not his best, but he rarely is off for me and less than great. This film works so well in UHD, esp the opening at the French cottage. Sound is always top notch on my simple 5.1 Vizio setup.

Look, most of us dig several of Quentin's movie and there are some good ones... but this one is just too hard to overlook as his best. I place it above all the others and the plot/acting is off the chain. A must-have for movie collectors!

Not only is this a witty, and at times outrageous work of pure fiction. I make this point because, when I saw this flick in the theater, I heard people grousing on the way out that it wasn't historically accurate. It's worth a look or three just to take in the dialogue. Every actor involved with this movie gave stand out performances, all of them! Let me know what you think.
