If you're a fan of Paul Thomas Anderson, 1970, drugs, mystery and suspense, and countless sight gags, you'll love this movie. If not, you'll probably hate it.

Didn't get it the first time I saw the movie. Was very confused but it's like, fear and loathing in Las Vegas you have too watch it more than once to get it

I know it's cliche', but, the book is better. That being said this film works its' own groove while being true to the spirit of the book by Pynchon.

The scene with Joachin and his girlfriend was very hot! Brolin was awesome as the tortured detective! The is definitely the genre for Joachin!

Solid picture and sound quality. Movie isn't for everyone but very strong after multiple viewings. Lots of humor and drug use.

Joaquin Phoenix is entertaining as ever in this psychedelic period piece. Great dramatic performances, but very funny as well.

This was a strange movie but is what I expected. But what I did not expect was all the stars in it. That was worth a look.

I waited months to get this amazing blu-ray. I could not be happier. Phoenix is awesome and people will love the story.

I watched this in the theaters with my son and his friends, it was a fun movie and I was probably just about the only person there that could say they remembered the time period. What fun to reflect. It was a little confusing the 1st time I watched it and became very clear once I watched at home.

I love love love this movie. It is the best depiction of "the death of an era" since Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's not an easy watch, but if you can get into it; the movie overtakes you. I would say this is (up to this point) PTA's best film. Oh, and the blu-ray is the best way to watch it.

Not one of Paul Anderson Thomas best, but a decent movie. airs of The Big Lebowsky with a different twist.

As with all his films, his interweaving of multiple storylines is a wonder to behold. Enjoyed this immensely!

Odd story with quirky characters but well done if you have the patience for this sort of thing.
