Inherent Vice is not a film for people with a preference of liner story structure. This films is all over the place in the best way possible. If you're a fan of Paul Thomas Anderson this should be a no-brainer. If not, maybe approach with caution.

This is an interesting movie that isn't for everyone but is interesting regardless.

The film looks great on blu. I do wish it had an iTunes copy or at least an option instead of just the UV copy. Also not the most in regards to special features but the film is awesome and the blu offers quality audio and video.

Before becoming the Joker, Joaquin Phoenix displayed his actor chops in several fine films. Inherent Vice is an absolute mind-bender. Strap in and get ready for the ride!

For sure not a film I'd recommend to many people because it is very much all over the place and confusing on purpose, but for those few who don't mind a weird funny thinker film, this may be one you'd enjoy. Give it a chance.

This is one movie that holds up to the book. Very funny and well acted.
