My main AC went out, not all the way but not enough to cool a room that measures 20X20 by 11 feet high. The AC needed help. I ran to Sam's and paid $107 for a 'quiet fan." That one works but it's one of the bladeless fans. So, I looked at the Deal of The Day and it was the 12" Retro. Ran out and bought it. Guess what, it's cooling my room right now and I can feel the pushed air 20 feet away! It's not noisy, it doesn't vibrate the table it's on and it is being used every day, even now that the main AC is fixed. I love it and wished Best Buy had 1 more for my wife to use. It looks like it's from a nostalgic 1930s movie. The low setting is hitting me that entire 20 feet distance. Forget bladeless, get this right now. I’m thinking Flash Gordon had this on his desk before the days of AC.

This fan puts out quite a bit of power. So much so, that I usually keep it at the 1st setting. It's pretty quiet, as well, which is an added bonus. I bought four of these to place in different rooms. I like the look of them, as opposed to the typical white or black option. Two cons to the purchase: (1) they are not energy star certified and (2) they don't adjust/tilt up or down as much as I had hoped.

Very good fan. It has an old-fashioned look to it with the metal blades and moves a good amount of air. If you want something for a mid sized office or room and are not going to have it blowing in your face (a little too much air for that) this is a great choice.

I purchased this one to use in the bedroom. I believe the ad said it was quiet. It is relatively quiet, however it is very LARGE for what I was looking for. The pivot radius is very large also. I would recommend this for use in an office.

This beautiful 12 inch table fan feels so elegant! Perfect size with great power! The brushed stainless color is gorgeous. It's so RETRO!!! Love, love it!!

Good fan. Looks nice. Squeaked on oscillating mode for first couple weeks. Seems better now. Would have given five stars if not for this.

I recommend this fan is durable and has a very good power for it's size. I'm very happy with this purchase I strongly recommend it.

I got the fan at a fair price and works well, no problem there. I have another copper colored fan and it copper colored. this 2 fans were supposed to be copper colored, but they are more of a dark gray. It is not copper colored for sure.I am happy with the fans, but do not expect them to have a copper tone.

Have to agree with others the fan looks great, especially if your not a fan of having a fan visually clutter up a space. This is in our living room pointed at the one of us who is always hot no matter the season. Cons:1) Makes a wonky off balance sound until warmed up a few minutes. 2) Does not tilt backward(up) so directional breeze is limited. 3) A little noisy (but not bad) if turned on while watching t.v. We only use low speed. Basically purchased out of desire not to have a cheesy looking plastic fan mess up design elements of a living room.

I was looking for a new fan but did not want to spend the money for a Dyson. This fan looks very expensive and is beautiful. I gave it four stars because it moves a lot of air but is a little noisy. Still a good buy.

Decided to give this a try on one of the daily deals. Good heavy construction and metal blades. It moves a lot of air for its size. It is a table top fan though and might not work well when placed on the ground.

Sturdy metal quality for the price. Not a lot of difference between the 3 speed settings. Noise is average for a fan but I like that it drowns out background noise but just in case you like a really quite fan.

Great fan. Disappointed in the finish. Expecting copper finish and it looks more like a dark brushed nickel.

The fan is as beautiful as shown in the picture, it is very sturdy. It has 3 speeds, and the lowest is not that low, thus noisier than expected.

This fan is a little on the noisy side, but that's to be expected because it creates a lot of air movement. Has a great vintage look.

Works great. I hate plastic fans because they don't move air like a metal fan does. Had 1 hiccup with the oscillation the first week I had it where it got stuck and made a clicking noise but released and never did it again.

This fan is pretty and powerful. Two things I don't like. It is not whisper quiet! Pretty noisy. And it doesn't tilt high enough. To me it barely tilts. Maybe it's the fan I received. Also the cord is too short for my liking. Love the retro look though and it does cool nicely so basically it does the job.

This is a great purchase if you can catch it at a promotional price. The fan works great but is a little noisy.
