Inside is an excellent horror film from France and is part of what some are calling The New Wave French Horror Film Movement along with the recent films, Them, Frontiers, and Calvaire. I've seen all the aforementioned films and believe Inside is the best of the lot. It's been a long while since a horror film actually managed to horify me and thrill me, which is what a good horror film is supposed to accomplish. However, everything about the film managed to click, such as the acting, cinematography, the film's score and the script. Although the DVD is light on features, I appreciated the making of documentary included, which is nearly an hour long in length and thoroughly covers the shooting of the film and interviews the main cast and crew. It's comforting to know the woman who played the ultra-psychopathic villain, is actually a rather down-to-earth person who got along with everyone on set! Again, great horror film that is among the more violent and disturbing I've ever seen. It's not for everyone but if you want to see REAL horror, watch this movie.

this is hands down one of the scariest,most brutal horror movies to come along in a long time.i know people will clump this into the "saw/hostel g*rno catagory" but it is far and away more than that(and WAAAAYYY BETTER THAN ANY OF THOSE MOVIES!!) please do not let the cheesy cover and lackluster releases from this label keep you from this masterpiece!! great story,a little slow to get going(the first 30 minutes are the setup)but once it hits the fan it does so in BUCKETS!! this movie will have you on the edge of your seat or squirming in it for the last 40 minutes!! NOT FOR KIDS!! NOT FOR THOSE WITH WEAK STOMACHS!! not funny,un-flinching, old fashion HORROR 10/10!!!

This is one of the most brutal horror flicks to come out in a while! If you thought the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Begging was brutal, this flick makes that one look like a muppet movie! This is definately not for people with weak stomachs or for kids. The unrated version is much better than the R-rated version that you can also purchase or rent from BlockBuster video. If you watch the R-rated version you loose approximately 7-8 minutes of the film which in this case is a huge amount of time. I highly recommend this film. It is very creepy in parts as well as it should be since this is a horror movie. Run, don't walk, and pick this one up if your a true horror fan.
