My wife had been trying to convince me to watch the first movie for the longest time, and I honestly just had NO interest. However, when the new movie came out in a 2-pack bundle she asked me to pick it up. So I did and we watched the first one and I have to say I was so impressed with the writing and scares that I begged her to watch the second one with me right after. The plot is definitely unique and the scares are genuine. I have heard they are even making a third, so I cannot wait for that! The movie itself looks great, but you should definitely watch it in the dark as it is very dark itself so it can be hard to make out scenes in the light. In addition, the movie can go from soft to very loud quickly so if you have small kids at home you may want to watch it when they're not home unless you want to constantly play with the volume. The special features are scant, but interesting. Overall though, highly recommended!

This is a two pack of Insidious, they use old methods of terror, cool shooting views,creepy music. A family has a son who falls into a mysterious coma only to find out he's being used as a gateway for evil to pass through, the sequel explains the first film a lot. This is a smart film, nice tense moments, that doesn't rely on spilled guts like most horror films. Own these films.

A really fun old school horror flick that feels like it was made in the 80s. This two pack includes both movies so it is an amazing deal. The movies play perfectly together and this is a must have collection for fans of movies like Poltergeist, The Entity, or Burnt Offerings.

When I had bought this, I was excited to collect the set. Until I realized a third sequel was in the works. So, I returned it because I want a complete set. But I give it 5 stars because I really did enjoy the movies.

These movies are a must have for horror genre fans. The sequel is good, but not as scary as the first, but still plenty of scenes where I jumped.

The movie had a really good plot, and very suspenseful. Excellent acting, and it was better than the first one.

This new horror series is actually well written. Scary in some parts and funny in others. Some of the acting was lame but that added to fun of it.

Insidious Chapter 2 was a great follow up to the first one. It had some tense moments and cool visuals.

Director Wan puts the scary back in horror with traditional spooks and scares without the blood gore.

Great storyline. It was a great horror movie. I recommend for horror movie fans to watch it.

If your expecting the same story plot to continue, you might be disappointed.

I didn't think it was scary but the story was pretty good.

And I thought the first one was freaky! This one outdoes its predecessor and comes full circle! Great movie for horror buffs.

for those who don't own the first one, get the bundle. Both movies are excellent with great Blu-ray transfers. Excellent job from Sony on these two.
