Not only does this cord let you charge your controller while you play your video games. But it's 10 foot length adds plenty of room & freedom to do so comfortably. So there is no need for you to hover over your system & tv. A MUST OWN!

I picked this one up when we were away on vacation because we forgot to take the charger with us. This cable is long enough for you to play while it charges the controller. The price is inexpensive and good quality.

Insignia makes great products. I like this cord especially for the 10 foot length, it reaches to my couch so charging a controller while gaming is easy. I usually replace all of my play station cords with these

It works just like the original sync cable that comes with the ps3 initially. I have had NO compatibility issues thus far. Plus you cant beat ten feet, the original was only like 3 feet at the most.

The one that came with Playstation wasn't charging as well anymore. This one works as great as the original did when it was new. Fast and the extra long cord is a major plus

Somehow I've managed to lose the cord that came with my PS3. Which really sucks. But I was fortunate to find this. And even better it's a improvement. If you're like me and play while sitting/lying on your bed, the original cord may not be long enough to play if your controller needs to be charged. This is perfect! No more hazardous balance act with my PS3 sitting on whatever I can find. (And off the floor, which is better if you have a curious dog like I do.) And I'm not sitting literally on the edge of my seat so I can see my TV on the same level as I play games. This is just what I wanted and better!

Bought this for my son so he could charge both controllers, since the game system he got for Christmas only comes with one. It's longer than the one that comes with the PS3 and works as designed. Very happy.

I researched to see who still made and carried these cords since almost everything is micro now these days. Found this listed at my local best buy and approached an associate who attempted to tell me no one makes these cords, but I was not giving up the site located it at that location. Anyways I find it by Playstation which made perfect sense! The cord is super long i love long cords works well with my sony handycam and my go pro! Thanks BB

I'm old school, so I don't mind gaming with a wired controller. In fact, I prefer it over having to constantly worry about the battery dying in the middle of a long gaming session. That's why I like that this cable is 10 feet long. It is a significant improvement over the 5 foot (I think) cable that comes with the console.

I couldn't find the cable to connect my wireless controller to the PS3 so I made a trip out to Best Buy to get a new one. Found the Insignia brand cable and it's great. No problems using it and I can comfortably charge my controller while sitting on the couch with no problems. Nice length to it !

I originally purchased Sony's charging cable for 3 times this amount because I did not see this cable. My Sony charging cable broke and I returned to the store to buy a new one. I noticed this cheaper option and tried it out. Still works like a champ and is much longer than the stock cable.
