My husband was able to get the materials needed to fix the cut cord. We plugged the refrigerator in after his repair and it has worked very well. It is absurd that the cord was cut and he had to repair it before we could even plug it in.

Ice cream is like a soft served ice cream! Best Buy replaced the fridge but the new one I received doing the same!!!! This is a junk DO NOT BUY! The Best Buy will not let me return it.

BestBuy does not deliver, so to speak!

So, there's no way of my reviewing the quality or functionality of my new Insignia refrigerator. If and when Best Buy remedies this delivery mess-up, I will review the new refrigerator on its merits. Best Buy should be ashamed-but nowadays corpore leaders will abide and make excuses for their employees' and functionaries' laziness. Ugh.

Not sufficiently cold, warranty is awful.

Unfortunately, even on the coldest of its (meager 3) settings, it will barely keep things like ice cream in the freezer cold enough - and ice packs are still too warm. We called Best Buy 16 days after purchasing it, only to find their appliances only have a 15-day return window. Even Home Depot has a better appliance warranty than Best Buy now! Now we'll have to go through the manufacturer. Having spent several thousand at Best Buy the last 2 years alone, this will be my last purchase once my saved point certificates are spent. Also btw for those interested, the freezer has no light, only the fridge section.
