I have probably shredded maybe 5 pieces of mail and one credit card. The last time I tried to use it, it wouldn’t move or make a sucking sound so I pushed the button to reverse it thinking there was a jam. The teeth of the machine started pushing out of the top and there is now metal jumbled together coming out of the opening. I am so bummed that I didn’t have this happen within the return window. I knew I should have gone with a better brand. I have never had any good experiences with Insignia. Don’t even get me started on my not so smart TV. Do not buy Insignia, it is not worth the aggravation.

Poor quality

The buttons are very bad plastic quality. If you check the pictures there are paper which was jammed and won't function at all.

Worked great and I quickly got rid of old paycheck stubs and banking documents. This machine never jammed and was easy to operate. Read instructions obviously. Ten paper limit. No envelopes because of glue. I love this and should have purchased one long ago
