Hi Michael,
Thank you for taking the time to review our 10W Qi Certified Wireless Charging Pad for iPhone/Android. I understand it doesn't work when the phone has a case on. It is recommended to remove the case before using the charging pad to avoid any obstacles. But, we would be happy to troubleshoot it for you and check your options. Please, use the link below to reach us.

Why spend double or triple the price on a wireless charger, when this one works just as well? Just make sure you use the adapter that came with it (added bonus, as not all chargers provide this), or an adapter that provides enough wattage. Otherwise it will simply take too long or not charge at all. For instance, if you use the little white adapter that comes with your iPhone (prior to iPhone 11 Pro), it might not work. The iPad adapter works much better so use that if you have it. Wireless chargers are becoming more and more common since newer phones are compatible. It used to be a luxury or "nice to have" but as time goes on, it just makes sense to replace your old charging cables with wireless ones since the price difference is almost none. So much more convenient and simple. Put your phone on top to charge, and then grab and go when you leave.

My first experience with this is using my S9 without needing to plug in the usb cord. Seems to work fine, although I noticed the phone was almost hot to the touch when it was done charging. Seems to work quicker than plugging in, but like I said, I am new to this product and have only used it a couple times so far. Will work with other brands and models, so seems great for a family charger that all can use. This model is cheaper than the branded Samsung version, but according to the staff at BB it works just as well, and so far I am happy with it.

I was skeptical purchasing a charging wireless pad, me being old school , a charging cord was my go to . I decided to purchase a Belkin wireless charging pad over a month ago and the experience was horrible , it wouldn’t charge my phone and it was really unreliable . I returned the device of course and a salesperson suggested I purchase the Insignia brand . I was skeptical again, I decided to take her advice and try it out . This charging pad has been great since day one . My phone charges faster and I’m able to leave my phone on the charger over night and wake up to a full charge in the morning . It’s inexpensive and gives Belkin a run for its money. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who want a great quality item without spending a lot of money .

It's a 10W wireless charger, it works, and it comes with a power adapter. It fast wireless charges my Samsung S9, normal charges my Razer Phone 2, and slow charges my Droid Turbo 2. It does seem to work fine with my phone cases. My Samsung S9 has an Otter Box Defender Series. Placement on the charger has been relatively simple, although I've had to fiddle with the Razer Phone 2 a bit. However, that's a fault with the phone, not the charger. I do feel the wireless charger and all my phones end up getting a little hot with or without a case, but it hasn't proven to be an issue. 5 stars for not giving me any sort of headache.

A very nice no-nonsense charging pad. Lightweight though sturdy, portable and convenient. Easy set up - all components included - charging cable, plug and pad. About 3.5 inches in diameter, about 0.75 inches thick (these are approximations) - ideal size for desk or corner table top use. Readily charges my iPhone XS and Airpods at about the same rate as a traditional plug in cable with the hassle of cables. Very affordable compared to other 10W Qi chargers.

Bought 2 of them yesterday because my husband is very careless with the iPhone cables and I’ve spent over $100 on new usb cables!!! Yes because I buy the real cables not the knock offs due to short circuiting an iPhone in the past.. so far they work wonders and my husband loves them. He no longer needs to go through the hassle of looking for the charging cable and find the 8 pin hole lol

Works well for fast charging wirelessly. The phone needs to be exactly in the right spot to charge, and can easily be knocked off and stop charging. The charger has a high pitched sound when charging, and can really heat up your phone, which a concern for shortening the life of the phone.

This charger does a great job with quick charge for iPhone & doesn't take up much space on the counter when not in use. I will purchase again for future devices I purchase that need Qi charging. Haven't knocked it off the counter (nor do I plan to), but it seems fairly sturdy. The price of this model is usually the most budget friendly, but does the same exact job that the $50+ chargers do, so it's a good buy in my book.

Easy to use, charges quickly Good price. Charges without having to remove phone from case.

I bought this charging pad for my old android galaxy S6 when my charging port was not working to tie me over until I got a new phone. Well, it works so well that everyone in the house uses it. When I got another phone, the S9, I had to buy another one for my own personal use....so easy to just lay your phone on it. Even with the otterbox cover it still charges effortlessly

I have a fast charger and the one I just purchased. There is a small difference in charge time between the 2 and the advantage of the one that I recently purchased is that it is flat vs. upright, i.e. takes up less space and can be portable. Also, works well using an Otter Box case.

It charges my phone just as stated, even with my thick case on. I enjoy the ease of use and I keep it right on my nightstand. The only negative part about this device is that it makes my phone super hot so I don't like to leave it on for hours on end.

Loved that this was for a great price and works really well! Admittedly it’s my first wireless charger so don’t really know how it stacks against others. I do notice I have to place my phone in the right spot but it’s not a big deal to me. What I like is that it charges fast for my iPhone 8 and it has a 1 yr warranty

So much easier to charge our iPhones now. Just lay it on and it charges without a plug in. So much more convenient on the night stand now. We have iPhones. Only problem is it won't charge face down. So you'll get screen flashes during the night unless you dim it. Also works with a case cover on your iPhone.

I bought the charging pad to end the hassle of the Lighting cables on the kitchen counters and the wall USB power adapters laying around. The charging pad is positioned on a cabinet in the kitchen and the wire and USB power adapter are hidden behind the it....out of sight ! The charging time is much faster than i thought it would be. It appears to be charging as fast as the plug in Apple charger. I have a protective hard shell case with a kick stand and it charges fine ....no need to remove from the case. Will probably buy another one for the bedroom night stand if all goes well after testing this one for the next 4 weeks . We have a iPhone 8 & iPhone SE 2020 and both charge just fine on the wireless charging pad. My only complaint would that the USB cord could be a little longer.....hence a 4 star rating.

I searched through many different brands of wireless chargers from Amazon, and many had mixed reviews. I went with the Insignia charger since if I had any problems with it, it'd be easier to exchange in store rather than through mail. Works great with my iPhone Xs Max. I just have a simple Apple silicone case and this has zero problems charging through the case. Tried a friends phone Xs Max with a pop socket and case, no luck. The thickness level is too great to pick up any charge. Also tried an Apple Watch series 2 and 3, both no charge. I wasn't expecting the watch to charge, but wanted to test it anyway. Wireless charging tech will get better with time, but for now, this charger works great!

I was surprised by the simplistic design and the functionality of this wireless charger. I wasn't sure if it was going to work well with a case on the IPhone and I have yet to experiment to see if it charges faster without the case on. None the less, this product works great so far.

Works well for my Samsung S7, although placement is a little sensitive. Found it works better if phone is removed from case. Regardless, I would purchase again for the convenience of not having to plug in the phone.

This is much easier to use than plugging my phone in! One handed charing and ease of use is much appreciated. Received as a Christmas gift and LOVE it! One thing I have noticed is if the phone is left on the charger too long it gets hot.
