It has a decent quality, works well. Doesn't make much noise. Keeps drinks cold at medium settings. More work than expected to change the door hinges to the other side. Overall, good small drinks fridge, I recommend it.

I’m very impressed with this mini fridge. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom, office, dorm, or even a game room. Despite its compact footprint, it has plenty of space inside to store drinks, snacks, and small food items without feeling cramped.

It works very well. It's quiet and doesn't vibrate. The door seals perfectly. The dimensions are perfect for the space. It looks good. In short, it meets my expectations; although I would have preferred the light to have an automatic setting and a digital temperature selector in degrees. The manual doesn't include a temperature guide based on values 1-6 or configuration suggestions depending on the type of beverages stored in the refrigerator. However, I got some very good recommendations from Chat GPT.

Difference between a cooler and refrigerator
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I was not aware there is a difference between coolers and refrigerators. Coolers usually run around 40 degrees and warmer as their job is to keep beverages cool. Where a refrigerator usually runs colder than 40 degrees as its job is to keep food fresh. This difference is important to understand so as not to have unrealistic expectations.
Unit was very easy to unpack – just cut a few straps and the box lifted off reveling the cooler. Weight was easy for me to move by myself. There is a lot of tape holding the shelves in – some being hard to get to.
Included user guide states to wipe down interior with warm cloth and to let stand at least 30 minutes before plugging in - I waited until next day and waited a few hours after plugging in to put any beverages in unit. Guide also states unit cannot be recessed – free standing only. Not to be put in direct sunlight as can affect acrylic components with at least 4 inches clearance on all sides. Not to be placed in area below 50 or above 85 degrees and as such states not to be used in garage or any outside location(s). Also not to be used in moist areas, in an RV or as an inverter(?). Can’t stack coolers and don’t use around magnetic fields (?).
If none of the above restrictions apply in how you were planning on using the cooler here is what I found in using.
There are 6 shelf options to place the 3 glass shelves.
The only way to store 115 cans is to place them horizontally and stack them on top of each other. This didn’t work for me as I wanted to see what the beverages were as I planned to mix them on a shelf. Also, I wanted to store taller 16.9 oz soda bottles vertically, as well as taller 12 oz glass bottles.
I wound up using only 2 shelves and had temperature set to max of 6.
Top shelf using option 3 from top – 18 – 16.9 oz plastic soda bottles – all vertical. Temperature stayed consistent at 40 degrees.
2nd shelf using option 6 from top – 10 – 12 oz tall glass bottles and 24 - 12 oz aluminum cans (stack of 2) – all vertical. Temperature consistently was around 30 degrees.
Bottom of unit (no shelf) 18 - 16.9 oz plastic water bottles stored horizontally. Temperature was around 32 degrees.
For a total of 70 beverages. The temperature does not seem consistent – maybe container type factors in?
The unit is quiet, and door is heavy with 2 panes of glass. Door can be mounted on either side of the unit, but exterior trim looks like stainless steel but isn’t. Inside of door fogs up if opened for than a few seconds but goes away quickly once closed.
1-year warranty
There is a light switch on inside top of unit to turn on/off – it doesn’t light on/off when door is opened/closed. Again, my research found that this lighting setup seems to be standard for a cooler. Unfortunately, beverages block light from filtering down to rest of cooler – side lights would have helped.
The temperature control is also mounted with the light switch.
There are quite a few restrictions on use. Also, for me at 70 beverages stored is quite a bit less than – BUT to be fair mine were also not all cans and most were stored vertically. Overall, it works well for me and looks nice in living room so I would recommend it.

---Pros---
1. The stainless steel trim, glass door, glass shelves, and LED interior light give the cooler a premium look and make it easy to see what's inside.
2. The size is perfect for me. It is a good compromise between the exterior space it takes up versus how many drinks it can hold. It can tuck under a counter or be placed in an unused corner without being noticed. While I didn't pack it full, it made a big impact during the holiday. We had more room for food in the kitchen fridge, while having plenty of cold drinks on hand for friends and family. I didn't try it, but the instructions actually tell you how to fit 115 cans (it is a tight fit, but Insignia provides a detailed layout)!
3. Controls and instructions are simple. The temperature is adjusted with a numbered knob (1 thru 6; the larger the number the colder inside). The LED is controlled via an ON/OFF switch. Both the temperature and LED control are located inside at the top.
4. Drinks are the perfect temperature on the middle temperature setting. A setting of (4) yields a temperature range between 37F-50F depending on the shelf and proximity to the door (the warmest spot is on the top shelf nearest the door).
5. Adjustable height shelves allow you to find a configuration to fit different sized containers.
6. Reversable door to fit you space (basic tools). Easily adjustable feet for leveling (the feet can be spun in and out by hand, but a level or level app is a good idea).
7. A real (paper) instruction manual is included (no app or QR code needed).
---Things to Consider---
1. Reasonably quiet. The compressor is not loud at all, although vibration sometimes make it more noticeable in a quiet room. We hardly know it is there during the day, but it might bother some people if in a bedroom.
2. The manual recommends 4in of air space on all sides and a maximum ambient temperature of 85F. This might be an issue if you were planning on a tight fitting cabinet or planned on using it in a location with no temperature control (like a garage).

Great Looking Minifridge with A Good Storage Room

This Insignia mini fridge is a perfect addition to any mancave or office environment where you want visual appeal as well as functionality.
The glass front door adds a nice visual to the fridge as opposed to the boring solid panel ones. It also allows you to see immediately what is inside. Inside there is plenty of room and the shelves can be reconfigured to allow a variety of things to be stored.
At the top of the unit there is a temperature dial as well as a light switch so you can turn the persistent light off if need be. This has come in handy for me while I am watching movies in my mancave. The temperature dial I haven't had to mess with as the preset temperature was perfect for my drinks.
The unit seems to seal up very well, I haven't noticed any problems with it constantly running. The window will fog up when you open it though, as well as the shelves. My house has a pretty consistent 50% humidity so this is expected.
When I first turned it on, it was a little loud, but after a few hours it got really quiet. Now when the motor is running it barely makes any noise at all, nowhere near as loud as it was when I first turned it on.
I didn't attempt to put 115 cans in there, I don't normally have that many cans but I have no doubt it would be able to hold that many. I keep a variety of drinks in there.
Overall, a very solid good looking unit that I recommend to anyone.

Aesthetically pleasing fridge

Insignia - 115 Can Beverage Cooler - Stainless Steel is a spacious, compact refrigerator that is ideal for keeping all of your beverages ice cold and easy to reach. The design is simple, and the glass door adds a nice touch to the aesthetics of the refrigerator. The unit is light and easy to move when empty and the adjustable feet made leveling simple. The interior has multiple adjustable shelves to accommodate many various sizes of drinks. By following the instructions, I was easily able to load the advertised 115 cans of soda in the fridge. When loaded up, I did find that I needed to adjust the temperature of the unit down a notch as the cans had some slush when opening. The internal light adds a nice touch, but one drawback is that it is always on and shining through the glass door. It can be turned off but as a result it no longer comes on even when the door is opened. Overall, this would be a great addition to any bar or mini-kitchen area where you want a compact fridge that functions just as well as it looks.

Install is nothing. This beverage cooler is super fast to unpackage, setup and plugin.
Space.. there is more than enough to store all our sodas, seltzers, and adult beverages for all of us for week or more. It's the perfect companion for our downstairs game room. Now we don't have to trundle upstairs to the kitchen anymore!
Temperature dial is simple. You don't ever know what the temp actually is however since there's no digital meter anyway. So you set it and just see after some hours. Probably once you set it to your liking you'll never ever change it again.
It does have a handle LED light, so you can quickly find whatever you are looking for.
Glass shelfs and stainless steel housing are quality and it's a good looking unit.
Probably the biggest plus is how silent it is. Cooler insulation provides a good seal so once it reaches to the internal target, you're not going to hear the unit turn on very often. Even when it is running you're almost not even sure it is. It's that silent.
Looks great - lots of space - silent!

Holds up to 115 standard 12 oz cans, enough for a good variety of soda, seltzer, and beer and his compact enough to fit underneath our counter. As well as a variety for our large family. Great buy

I really like this this fridge. It keeps my drinks cool and was very affordable compared to similar fridges. The only complaint I have is the light. I wish it would turn on when I open the door. Not sure if I'm not working it correctly but it seems like it either stays on or stays off.
